Michael the owner and our tour guide was amazing. He is so charismatic and he really enjoys his STORIES of Houston. Our group was small and quaint to which I personally enjoyed. The pubs we toured were warm, accepting friendly and the drinks were PERFECT. The tour is not overly exerting, you definitely need to wear comfortable shoes ladies, be prepared for the average drink is maybe 8.00 each but they are awesome and not crazy strong but allows you to savour the drink. The weather was great for us and we even went and ate at one of Michael's suggested pizza spots Romas and it was well WORTH IT! Would 100 book another tour with HoustonUrbanAdventures and will even try to take on his suggestion for Galveston this weekend! Thank you Michael, and remember I Like Chocolate!

Michael was our tour guide and he was great. He was very personable and if info was hearsay rather than absolute truth he made that clear. He had freedom to choose which pubs to visit and his choices were great. We had a very fun evening and would recommend it to anyone that wants to hear some history of Houston and the pubs and visit some fun pub spots.

Good time

The tour was great, the only drwback is that I and other two people got an old address on the voucher so were waiting at a place that was actually closed. Finally we can talk to the tour guide and showed us the right directions. At least, they were close. When we joined the group it was so much fun. We got to see different bars and learn their history. Very recommended, specially if you are new to the area

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better January 2014

Was expecting more quite frankly. Thought it would be more about the history of the pubs, and was more about the history of the city. Went to four pubs. The first one was in the basement of a market and barely qualified as a pub, and the last one was in a hotel lobby. The middle two pubs were interesting.
