Our tour guide was wonderful and you could tell she really loved what she did. With all the tours I booked through Viator we never had one glitch with our tickets or reservations.

Tour was excellent with good commentary. Good way to get oriented in Budapest at the start of our stay. We took ourselves back the next day to a number of the places we visited on the tour for a closer look. The tour helped us choose which places we wanted to revisit.

What a great way to see Budapest. Not every sight I wanted to see was covered. But I think for a general overview of Budapest, this is an excellent tour to learn.

We were the only 2 people on this tour - presumably because it was January and cold! Nonetheless, we had the exclusive services of a very knowledgeable local guide who showed us all around Budapest - even taking us for a coffee. He also recommended which baths to visit and an excellent restaurant where we ate the next evening. This tour is an excellent way of starting your stay in Budapest as you see most of the major sites and can then decide where you wish to spend more time.

What a great day we had! Were picked up from our city apartment as well as dropped back. Guide very knowledgeable and helpful. Tour absolutely top class and even the kids enjoyed it. Very good price too.

We were on a small mini bus with a specialist guide. She was great. This tour gave us an appreciation of what to see in Budapest. The city has so much to see that you need an initial tour to get your bearings and to pick out places to return and see. A great way to start off your visit to Budapest. The taxi pickup from my hotel was excellent.

Visited all the places in Budapest that we particularly wanted to see. Only problem was that as elderly people we found some of the walking a bit tiring.

This tour gives you the basics, so you can see more later by yourself.

A hop-on, hop-off tour would probably have been better where you could have spent more time at some of the stops.

Very informative - guide was clear and always audible. Good way of getting an overview of Budapest. Would definitely use again.

We had a bad experience with the pickup service. They had gone to the wrong hotel and instead of picking us up at 9.30am we got picked up after 10am. Because of this we missed the first half an hour of the tour. Viator themselves when I rang them just after 9.30am were very helpful and couldn't be faulted for their service, the problem was with the Budapest tour providers. We found the person who picked us up and the tour guide quite rude when we joined the tour. We found the tour was quite rushed as you only got 10 minutes to take pictures, and if you are like us and like to take picture, it's a rush. I would not use the local Budapest company again after my experience with them, but I would highly recommend Viator. We have been on loads of tours and this was the first tour we had a problem on. Thanks Viator.

Very good tour, worth doing, it gives you some history of Budapest and time to look around yourself.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. This is a good introduction to Budapest, and should be done early in your trip. Afterwards, we were able to decide which areas we wanted to see in more depth.

The only thing that spoiled things was the weather. Our tour guide was very good.
