The horse stables were fantastic. A very sweet lady bundled us up and put us in rain suits for the ride. I'm so glad she did! It was February, raining, and freezing, and still the most fun I've had in a long time! Don't miss your chance to ride these fantastic horsed through this beautiful scenery. Warming up in the Blue Lagoon afterwards was the cherry on top. Great tour!

Excellent trip, the staff were friendly and helpful and the experience unforgettable. The Lagoon was amazing especially once it was dark. Advisable to book a treatment in advance we had to stay for the last bus as all the treatments were booked until 5pm and we didn't want to go home without the experience.

I had an extraordinary time ! I was in Iceland for a day with a layover and decided to do this. The only thing I could say that might be taken as a negative was the way the trip was laid out. I was under the impression we'd take the horses to the lagoon. Instead, we were taken to the horse farm, where we rode for several hours through the countryside, taken back to the visitors' office, and then picked up to go to the lagoon. The lagoon was an additional fee and the trip could very easily fill an entire day. Also, when you start out on the horses, you think, "This is nothing," but then they start to run... watch out :D Your butt may be sore for a few days. Overall, I had a wonderful time. If you're in good heath and your body can take the horse ride, do it.

Nice tour. Horse-Riding takes almost 2 hours instead of 1 hour, which is good. Blue Lagoon is amazing place. We'll definitely go again!

An amazing time! They were so friendly! Warning: if you have rode a horse before but are not very comfortable on them make sure to say you have never rode before and you will get a less experienced horse (it will walk most of the way, not gallop).

Fabulous! All the horses are amazing and the views are breathtaking. Staff was very helpful. Embla has the best face and Langenesse has a gentle spirit. Blue Lagoon is an experience beyond words!

The tour itself was fabulous, however, my experience with Viator--not so much. Their customer service is terrible,. I called regarding a question about my tour and both women thatI spoke to were not only unhelpful, but they were very rude and abrupt. I wish I would have waited until I got to Iceland to book directly with Icelandic Excursions. I will never use Viator again. I advise you to either book through another third party vendor or try to book directly with Icelandic Excursions.

A thoroughly enjoyable day: pick-ups/transfers were punctual and straight-forward. Starting the day off with some horse riding and finishing it with a relaxing few hours in the Blue Lagoon were ideal companions, and a wonderful way to end a fantastic long weekend in Iceland!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice. Afterwards, our driver let us book a Northern Lights tour at the last minute, which was very much appreciated.

Staff was wonderful and very helpful with ride. Horses were amazing as was the scenery through which we rode. The Blue Lagoon is a must if in Iceland. A great way to relax after a long horse ride. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing! Loved the riding, but I would warn anyone nervous not to do this trip. It wasn't exactly for beginners. For anyone who rides, it is a must! Blue Lagoon is wonderful and just the right thing to do after a ride. Bus picked us up for both trips at our hotel and dropped us there at the end of the day. It was extremely well organised.

I definitely recommend doing this. The horse riding was excellent, however, the horses do like to gallop along at some points and you really do have to hold on, but it's great fun and the scenery is fantastic. They gave us warm jumpsuits to wear over our clothes and I would recommend doing this. The ride lasted about one and half hours, and that is long enough if you have not been riding for some time. We were then taken to the pick up point for the Blue Lagoon trip. This again is a must. I would take a change of clothing if you do both of these trips together, as after being in the Lagoon and putting the same clothes on that you have been riding a horse in, you will smell of a horse! The Blue Lagoon is fantastic, we stayed for hours, and you can get out of the lagoon and eat and drink inside, and then go back in the lagoon again. The changing rooms are very clean and your belongings are stored in your own locker. You do have to pay an entrance fee, which is not included in the price of the trip. One point to note: make sure you check with your bus driver when you get off the bus at the lagoon what times the bus comes back, as there are various times for pick up. Take your camera!
