After a drive to Olafsvik, a lively fishing town, the excitement begins when you step onboard the whale-watching ship Brimrun to search for dolphins, orcas and minke whales. You might even be lucky enough to spot humpback whales, and perhaps even the blue whale, the biggest mammal in the world. You'll also have the opportunity to spot plentiful birdlife. Please remember to dress warmly, since it's colder at sea than ashore.
Back on land, you'll head for Stykkisholmur, the region’s bustling main town before returning to Reykjavik.
