On this whale watching tour you will see the whales in their native environment which is an unforgettable experience. The local bird life is diverse, including birds as the Puffin, Arctic tern, Gannet and many varieties of Gull.
After the whale watching tour you will experience Gullfoss & Geysir in one afternoon, the most popular excursion. You willl start by visiting Thingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alpingi was established in the year 930. Geologically it is unique since there the tectonic plates meet, that is America and Europe, and these continents are slowly drifting apart.
You will also visit the waterfall Gullfoss, the spouting hot spring of Geysir and Strokkur and the colourful volcanic crater Kerid. Although this afternoon trip is an "express" tour, you will be visiting some of the very best known historical sites and natural phenomena in the country.
