I had a terrific 2-day tour to Gallipoli and Troy. Viator had promised that this would be a guaranteed tour. Despite being the sole visitor that day, the complete tour infrastructure was available. Guarantee respected! My gratitude to Viator.

The guides at Troy and Gallipoli were both excellent and informative. This was my second visit to both sites. In regards to Gallipoli, I would like to have visited the Cape Helles battle sites where the British first landed, but then I suppose it would not have been possible without omitting some other site.
On Day 2, following the visit to Troy, an earlier return to Istanbul would be desirable rather than spending an entire afternoon in Canakkale and arriving in Istanbul very late. Also our driver got lost returning to Istanbul and had great difficulty finding the guests hotels.
Otherwise it was a pleasant and informative tour.

Great trip to Gallipoli. Interesting and knowledgeable Turkish guide, who explained things from both sides. Great overnight hotel. You can do this trip in a day. Second day was very long and we could have been on our way by lunch time. There was an option if the group wanted to return, but it was very expensive. We enjoyed wandering around the town, but for some with children it seems too long. Return road stop was awful, so suggest buy some snacks and give it a miss.
Don't go in the height of summer, as it would be very uncomfortable.

Tour was great! Pick up was a little early but we were able to avoid the traffic out of Istanbul and did not feel rushed. I did not know the hotel I would be staying at before hand but was very good, good choice of food and clean facilities. I was very fortunate as there was only myself and another couple so felt almost like a private tour.
Would highly recommend to anyone who has a few days and would like to see a bit more of Turkey, not just Istanbul.

This was a well organized tour! Everything was on time and our tour guide and driver also created opportunities for the group to experience even more than the original itinerary. We really got to see a lot in a short time. All the food and accommodations were wonderful. This is well worth your time and money!

Gallipoli was very good, great guide and very informative. Troy was a bit of a disappointment, not much to see there and the 'free time' would be better served driving back to Istanbul a little earlier
