Very professionally organized and executed.
Tour guide attentive and well read on subject matter.
Administration of payment and communication with us by VIATOR was extremely good and high appreciated bu us.
Once again, this tour was well organised, great, friendly and knowledgable guide Sevilay. We skipped all the long queues in the sun and were able to pack more into the day...thank you Viator!
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Tibet, our guide was brilliant and full of character one of the most funny, witty people I've met. She knew the history behind the amazing, gorgeous places we visited on this tour. The tour was executed pace fully and enough free time to relax and absorb the culture and atmosphere. Must see places in Istanbul! Thanks Tibet! Thanks Viator!!
It was so amazing and nice trip with tour gauide...i appriciat viator service.
Thanks viator and keep it up!!
The tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. She took us to see the historical sites and described the history behind each site. In the Grand Bazaar, she helped us to good shops for our souvenirs.
Our guide was very experienced and had a lot of knowledge . We went to some lovely sites and had a great time
Awsome! we got more for or money. The tour guide was on time, she was very nice, she knows a lot about the history, and she was very professional. We learned a lot from her. I believe her name was Sybilla. I will recommand this tour.
Private guide picked us up on time, took us to the Hagia Sophia, Cistern, and Bazaar, gave us private time, and transferred us back to the hotel. Could not have been better.
I would recommend the full day tour, but we only had a half day available. Good tour guide and interesting tour. Suggest you copy what is on tour (its not on the voucher), as our tour guide would have left out the Roman Cisterns (which was a highlight), if I had not reminded her.
Very good guide who combined real story telling with historical facts to ensure we were able to visualize life during the different periods of history.
The guide was terrific: prompt, professional, very informative, and personable.
Yes it was interesting ,the history of the Hagia sofia mosque and basilica cistern Had a great history.but the carpet shop visit was unusual in istanbul there was a salesman describing how a carpet was made and a attempting to sell us a carpet should it be on the tour NO.the guide was helpful
This tour was great and although the line for the Blue Mosque appeared long, it moved rather quickly!!!!
For the Hagia Sophia and the Basillica Cistern I joined a group who had be on tour since that morning, but for the Grand Bazaar I had the guide (Sylvia?) all to myself which was a bonus She was able to give me undivided attention and we had a nice afternoon exploring the Bazaar. I would never had found my way out on my own!! Hagia Sophia and Basisillica Cistern were fascinating and the guide was able to explain to the group the history of both.
The tour was outstanding. In addition Viator accommodated a lady minute change in plans due to a flight delay. We were able to quickly reschedule to the following day and Viator took us to the port so we could board our cruise in time. That was excellent service!
It's a must do tour on this fantastic city. I'd only recommend to add the Blue Mosque in this tour, then it would be great and complete.
The guide was very knowledgable andbeinga small group made the tour easy.
I would recommend that you supply the people with an audio earing device so if we move away from our guide we still can hear is comment and know wh
The tour was terrific and the guide took us to the Blue mosque after I asked if she would. I should have also asked to go to Hippodrome and skip the Bazaar which was not worth the time. Also although our guide did speak English it was with some difficulty but otherwise she was terrific
We were taken to Blue Mosque, then Hippordrome,Oblesik,Hagia Sophia,Carpet shopping and Grand Bazaar.
This was a very informative and to the point tour. Our guide was proficient and even gave time to clarify your doubts.
We were given audio systems inside Hagia Sophia thus enabling us to hear him clearly enough.Same were not neither provided nor needed in Blue mosque as guide can tell the story and then give you some time to roam around the mosque.
Blue mosque,Hippodrome and Oblesik were covered adequately. Please note this tour first does the pick ups from the hotels ,takes you to their central office and from there you change the bus if required and the tour starts. So there is considerable difference between pick up time and tour start time even if ur hotel si next door to Hagia Sophia.
Tour also does a visit to one of carpet emporiums before our last stop at Grand Bazaar. I was not sure if I wanted it but this was one exquisite presentation..After the presentation I wished I had the need for a carpet. They provide you some amazing information about the carpets their quality,so do not miss it..Overall an interesting half day tour.
Good tour- both Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are worth seeing. We didn't see the Grand Bazaar as closed that day.
Convenient and reliable pick-up from hotel. The Blue Mosque and St. Sophia are must sees. This is a lot to pack into a half day but great if you don't have much time and want to see a lot. Grand Bazzar was great and since it's the last stop you have the option to stay longer if you like. Some of the musts sees for sure.
The tour itself was great. If you go to Istanbul you should definitely visit these places. The line outside the Hagia Sophia was extremely long but of course we skipped the line since it was a guided tour. The amount of time we had for each stop was perfect but you can definitely spend more time in the Grand Bazaar. This was the last stop on the tour, so we just stayed there and found our own way back to the hotel. Before, going to the Grand Bazaar we suddenly had to stop for a visit to a large carpet/jewellery shop for a carpet presentation! This was not announced prior to the tour and for us it was a completely waste of time that we would have liked to spend differently. Furthermore, our guide spoke very quietly and she was a bit difficult to understand so we did not get much information about the places we visited.
