The driver wasn't there to meet us at the gate but a phone call to the tour office fixed that quickly.

We were disappointed when we did not find a driver with our name on it waiting for us. With the help of the information desk we were able to page and the dispatcher came immediately, explaining that traffic had been particularly difficult that day. It all worked out, but it could have been better.

This was worth it. The tour operators waited for our late flight and were polite and helpful. Definitely a great way to find our way to our hotel with minimum fuss.

It was nice to be met by an English speaking person and taken to a waiting car. However the driver did not speak English. He drove well and it was a long way to our hotel, and he found the hotel with no difficulty.

Arrived at the airport to be met by a guide, waited 10 minutes for car but not too much of a problem. Driver did not speak English.

We arrived late and the car service was there to pick us up. The one thing I was concerned about was that the English speaking guide actually had the driver stop and let him out on the way to our hotel at 1am in the morning. This was a bit uncomfortable since we had a driver that didn't speak English and I would have thought the guide would have seen us to the hotel.

A delay at the Paris airport caused us to miss our connection to Istanbul. The phones wouldn't connect us to the tour operator's number, so we e-mailed Viator from the airport to relay our new flight number and time. The tour operator wasn't there to pick us up. We had to take a cab even though we had already paid for the transfer. Not good.

Out of the 5 transfers this tour of Europe, this one would have to be one of the worst. We were picked up in a 30 seater bus. This bus was so clamped out it was struggling to make the small hills in Istanbul. We were the only 2 on the bus which constituted a Private Transfer. The trip took one hour and ten minutes to reach our hotel. Unacceptable as the average transfer time is 30 minutes. Also the driver could not speak a word of English.

BA flight arrived into Istanbul on time. We were met by a driver that did not have our names, he was just looking for 4 people travelling together, he finally found us. Much to our dismay he had sent the car back to the city with another client. We sat in the airport at 1145pm waiting 45 minutes for our transfer to our hotel. After a long flight from SFO, I would expect to be picked up immediately, there was no alternative at that hour of the night. Also the transfer was pre-paid.
