This was a very good cruise in the Bosphorous Strait. The food and wine was great as was the bell-dancing show. The driver delivered us to the boat right on time and picked us up and delivered us back to our hotel. It was great.
The food was great and it was entertaining. Met a nice couple from USA and had a nice conversation and evening
This dinner and belly dancing cruise was ideal for my family of four, with two sons in their early twenties. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the river to board. The cruise was nice but just about half an hour too long. The three course meal was ok with the drinks but do not expect a high quality menu. The food staff were polite but they were always in a rush to get the food out. We liked the variety of Turkish food provided in the entree but the main dish was not as good. The entertainment was very good and the dancers engaged many members of the audience. Everyone had fun. The views at night were spectacular and many great photos to be taken. I would recommend the cruise as long as you are prepared to accept a lesser food selection. Overall pretty good.
This was a nice dinner cruise and the Belly Dancer had amazing control over her body. We had a 3 course dinner which was an appetizer plate, a choice of fish or chicken (both were very good) and fresh fruit which was served during the belly-dancing/cultural show. I would recommend taking a coat or shawl for the show. You eat dinner on an enclosed deck but then go upstairs in the open air to watch the show. As the boat is going somewhat fast when you get up on deck, it is chilly. There are also capes/shawls you can buy on board if you want to. However, once the show begins the boat is going slower and it is not as cold. In summary, this is a worthwhile excursion and a nice way to spend time on the Bosphorus.
The cruise was pleasant and the food was good as well as the entertainment. It's a great way to see the city by water at night. Despite the picture, all eating is done inside which was a bit disappointing. The transportation to the cruise was late and we just got there on time. Overall it was well run and I would recommed it to travelers to Istanbul.
Even in the rain, it was a lovely outing. We enjoyed the meal and the performers were talented. Cruising the Bosphorus was very romantic - a great way to finish off our trip to Istanbul.
I went on this cruise on 31st March 2014. The shuttle bus arrived on time and the driver drove us to the boat. Unfortunately it was too cold to have the dinner on deck so we had to sit inside. It was a very nice boat and everything was fresh and new.
We got the starter straight away which consisted of some Turkish meze, Seabass for main course and coffee plus cake for dessert. During the entire cruise we were served beer, wine, raki and vodka.
The food was pretty ok. Nothing out of the ordinary but then again the entire cruise is not focused around the food itself but more around the entertainment.
I was not too happy with the traditional turkish dancing show. I was expecting the dancers to be more professional but it felt like this was something they just did during their free time.
After the dance show the traditional Turkish music changed to club music and people started dancing. There were dance music and some slow songs.
This is a great cruise if you're looking for a fun evening with lots of drinks and music. A lot of the guests danced and it was a very good vibe during the entire cruise.
If you're looking for a more quiet and traditional Turkish evening with a professional dance number then I would suggest something else.
Nice pictures, but boat not at all like them. Sandwiched into long tables for dinner. Insufficient space to watch the entertainment. Food mediocre. Pickup/Dropoff was fine. Cruise was very nice.
well the pickup took long enough about 2 hours. And food/dinner was fine but at that price ? Not worth it
Dinner wasn't interesting, the cruise just kept turning around so you were looking at the same sights, it was way too long, seating was assigned so you couldn't choose who you wanted to sit with, entertainment was a bit boring, but you did get to see the Bosphorus at night.
