If you take the other full day guided tours, this is not so necessary, but it still is a great way to see the city.

As far as tours go, this one is very good, with the added bonus of pickup and drop off only a short walk from the cruise ship terminal. Tour stopped at all major attrcations as advertised, and English language commentaty was excellent.

A very good hop on and hop off tour of Istanbul.
Very informative and detailed. Enjoyed it very much and got to see a lot of Istanbul. The traffic is kind of crazy though.
