This was the best stop and tour on our 12 day cruise. Our guide, SINAN OKUT was very knowledgeable. We got all the info we asked, and more. I would not suggest trying to see Ephesus on your own.
Met on pier right on time. Saw major sights, Mosques, Palaces etc. This is really a full day walking tour, appx 4.5 mis. If you can't walk that much DO NOT TAKE. Good lunch was a much needed break. Carpet store was a waist of time, nobody cared at that time. Appx half hour at the Grand Bazaar is not enough time .Recommend doing on own time wtihout a group, more fun. Still a great experience and will recommend RNK Ohio
Omer was very knowledgable... Love the restaurant he brought us...
Loved our tour of this immense city. Thanks to our guide, who never left us alone, we learned a huge amount about Turkey, their wars, both the good and bad about their past. Inside the Blue Mosque he explained all about the symbolisms. We noticed that most other tours just brought their guests in and let them look around.
Thanks, Viator for making our trip so memorable. We will definitely use your services on our next trip!
A very memorable tour the tour guide was so knowledgeable. Will defiantly use Viator again. Excellent value for money.
Excellent tour, knowledgable guide, stunning city and superb lunch, what more can I say!
The tour covered everything in the brochure with a good amount of time at each site. It also included the cisterns which was an unexpected extra and well worth doing. Lunch at a local restaurant was good and provided a touch of local colour. The tour guide was excellent with good local knowledge and managed to avoid the long lines at sites like the Blue Mosque. Glad we did not try to do all these on our own in limited time. Only down side was the compulsory carpet making demonstration which is an overly long sales pitch.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and the punctuality of the pick up from the port. The fact that we were a small group rather than a group twice as large with Celebrity at almost half the cost was the selling point for me. I will definitely use Viator on my next trip as this was the first time I used Viator.
This was the best tour, our guide had the best attitude, knowledge and flexibility to adapt the tour based on the day.
Really enjoyed tour. Could have spent more time at the sites but would not have seen them all. It was good to have someone put you on a schedule. Lunch was enjoyable with plenty to eat. Our guide, Tibet, was knowledgable and helpful. We were picked up at the ship and we got dropped at Spice Market on the way back. Only downside was at the rug shop some people were interested in buying and we had to wait over an hour after the demonstration finished. They then decided they would come back the next day. Our time could have been better used doing something else.
This tour was superior to others on our cruise excursion list. Our tour leader was informative, helpful, and delightful. Our other tours were marred by late departures, late arrivals, excessive numbers of people on the tours. None of that occurred on this tour. The walking was a bit much for a couple of people in our group so perhaps that should be made clear up front by Viator.
This as a very good tour. It was a bit difficult finding the guide off the dock as there were so many in a small space. I held up my printed reservation and he found me! The guide was knowledgeable and answered questions. He gave us plenty of time in each stop to wander around and take pictures. As most of the sites are in 1 area there is a considerable amount of walking. It is flat but I have arthritis and asthma and had a bit of a problem keeping up at few times (but I made it!) We were there on a Friday. The Blue Mosque is closed for prayer until 2:00 so there was quite a line to get in but it moved rather quickly. He usually likes to do it first on other days, which would have cut down on the walking. The lunch was very good. After visiting the Grand Bazaar some people wanted to get off the bus and visit the spice market and other areas and he was ok with letting them off the bus.
