This was the highlight of our trip, even though it was just a whim that we went. Our tour guide was AMAZING!!!!! He spoke excellent english, was about to talk everything from rome's history, to random facts about areas we past through, to Mt. Vesuvius, to Naples, Pompeii, and even just random questions people would ask. He had a great sense of humor, was very friendly, and made it interesting enough that even our 7 year old paid attention! Then if that wan't enough we had a second tour guide that joined us in Pompeii (so in effect we had 2 guides) and he also was very knowledgeable, spoke great English, and was funny! I can not tell you how wonderful this trip was!

Walking along the top of Mt. Vesuvius was great. Very interesting tour. So glad we took this tour.

This tour was absolutely amazing. Our group leader was Roberto and he was really funny, and made the whole day be so light and fun. At the end of the trip he even gave us an extensive background history on St peters, very great. i reccomend this

It is rare that you see guides with such passion for their job, their country's culture and history. I must say this tour is the highlight of my trip. Special personal care were given by Luciana and Giovanni. Luciana knows so much about everything. Just listening to her is worth every penny!

Two excellent guides on the coach. Sara and Roberto. Their knowledge was first class and they were extremely friendly and helpful. The talk with Roberto on the return journey was fascinating.
In Pompeii another very good guide with an excellent sense of humour.

Loved it. Tour guides, Violet and Stefano, were friendly, helpful, cheerful and helped to make the day. I should also give thanks to the bus driver who expertly drove the bus up to Mt. Vesuvius. Tour guide in Pompeii was also a pleasure. I would certainly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour with an equally great tour guide (Robert). Beautiful sights and weather. The tour was on time but relaxed and not rushed. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the amazing history of the region.

Very interesting and well organised. Roberto was an excellent guide with very good English. Georgio at Pompeii was very informative. However it really is not necessary to be coy about the pictures and graffitti. If it shows a large penis, say so dont keep drawing attention to it all as if we are smutty schoolboys who want to snigger everytime someone says the word bum.

The guides were lovely and chatted with us most of the way there. Pompeii just blew me away. The size of the city was beyond my expectations and personally i found it better than the ruins in rome.

The tour was a delight. We had a full bus with two guides since Pompeii would have smaller groups. My group leader was Stephano with Violet leading the other group. Both of them, besides being professional and knowledgeable, were also warm and friendly. When we were delayed getting to the top of Mt. Vesuvius, they assured us that we would not be short-changed of our alloted time, even if we returned home a a little late. On the long bus ride back they both walked back and forth on the bus asking if there were still any questions, even making sure we knew how to get back to ours hotels or finding a good restaurant in our area. They went out of their way to make us all feel special.Onlittle late.
