This easy shuttle service from Rome brings you to Pompeii, where you can explore the mysteries of this ancient city at your own pace. The journey from Rome to Pompeii takes three and a half hours. Upon arrival you can discover the site independently, or choose to take one of the guided group tours departing from the entrance to the site (additional cost, payable direct).
Despite wars waged on its soils, assaults by earthquakes and a volcano nineteen centuries ago, Pompeii is still vibrant, well preserved and accessible. Wander from mosaic to monument and temple to theater as you step back in time and imagine how life was in this legendary city. Remember, all paths begin, and end, with beautiful frescoes depicting scenes from when the city of Pompeii was still pulsing with life.
Depart Rome at 7:30am and arrive in Pompeii at 11:00am. You will board the shuttle for your return journey at 3:30pm with expected arrival back into Rome at approx. 7:00pm.
