This was the best tour in Rome. Our tour guide, Stella was extremely knowledgeable....and very pretty which did not hurt either. She spoke near perfect English.

The first of our Viator Rome tours and Claudia our guide was prepared for us. She was an expert on the Colosseum and Forum. We feel as though she gave us 100 % of what we were hoping for. Amazing!!! This was such a great experience! Maria was an excellent guide. She knew so much history about both the Colosseum and Ancient Rome. What beautiful views in Ancient Rome by the gardens. This was probably my favorite tour!

An excellent tour. I thought it might have been a bit pricey but after finishing this tour I think it was value for the money.
A very knowledgable guide with a great sence of humour. A well planned tour with a bit of walking but nothing strenuous.
After exerienceing this and a Vatican tour I would have like to have done other tours with this company, alas we were out of time. Thank you Dark Rome Tours.

A really knowledgeable tour guide who answered all questions, even the tricky ones! She was very keen to give any further advice about our time in Rome. The tour itself was good value in itself, purely through being able to skip the queues.

Take this tour - it is led by an archaelogist, which means you get highly insightful guidance and access to many parts of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill other people would never get near. These people are passionate about what they do, so you will feel that passion too. Support this tour it returns funds to conservation and valuable work.

This is the one tour that I would really recommend. There is so much history about the Colosseum. Damiano, Dark Rome, tour guide, was wonderful. We were able to access parts of the Colosseum that the general public do not have any access to. The view from the top was gorgeous and it was a beautiful day as well. To be able to understand the history was really worth paying for this tour. Touring the Colosseum alone by ourselves, we would have not understood what the Romans did back in the days.
Having the guide helped us understand everything. Damiano's knowledge and information of the history of the Colosseum gave us and indepth perspective of the life of the Romans.
A tour I highly recommend.
