Very interesting tour of a part of Rome that we knew little about. Our guide obviously knew what she was talking about and was able to transfer her enthusiasm for the subject to the group.

We had a terrific guide. He was well spoken, had an impressive knowledge of the crypts and the people that took care of them and and why they did the things that they did. The guide was a great public speaker. He was entertaining as well as informative.

This was a better tour than advertised. The crypts of the Capuchin monks were captivating, and it felt like a privilege to get to see the underside of Rome, which dates back to AD 2. The tour guide often broke the group in half and repeated the information she gave to ensure that everyone heard. It was an impressive tour. I have already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit Rome.

Must not have read this properly and was disappointed to find that we had to make our own way back to the starting point. Franciscan monastery really something different and worth doing even if you hate churches.

Very good tour especially for the summer period in Rome as it is so hot. We kept cool going underground, the highlight for both of us was San Clemente church with the other 3 levels of different centuries! The tour guides were also excellent!

Really enjoyed the tour. Hotel pickup/dropoff would have made it all the better. But, I can't complain.

This tour is a must whilst in Rome. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable in all areas of the tour. It moved along at a comfortable pace and at no time did I feel rushed along. We did not experience any long lines or waiting around which was a refreshing experience in itself. The tour itself was amazing and really takes you back in time. The scale of the catacombs is unbelievable and I will never forget this visit. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some dark history.

I didn't get to see this tour as we missed our plane, but Viator let us rebook and take an alternate tour, which was super. Thanks for the flexibility and the great tour guide!

Incredible!!!! Best excursion we have ever done and well worth the money. Very well organised, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable but also had a good sense of humour. The Capuchin Crypt chapel was certainly different but would have been very hot if we had not had a private viewing. The Domitilla Catacombs and the Church of San Clemente were outstanding, and we recommend a visit. Many thanks for an incredible excursion.
