Friendly and informative guides. Really enjoyed the tour and would recommend it.
Great trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us unique insite to the sites and surroundings. The transport was comfortable. The guide gave us clear direction at transfer points that helped us accross the borders easily and safely.
Having been to Bethlehem on a previous tour ( with a different company) we consider that this tour of Bethlehem was very informative and presented with knowledge of all the places we attended, another good guide explained all places well.
All went perfectly smooth! Our guide was really great and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this Bethlehem tour.
This was a great trip. Covered all the major sites. Guide was very knowledgeable. After the trip, went to a gift shop, where everything was overpriced, but there was no pressure to buy.
Enjoyable tour for the short time we had. Guides and driver were pleasant and imformative.
It was good. Some unpleasant experience was attempt of the driver of the companyto avoid to drop us to the hotel claiming that his engagement is to bring us to the hotel from wherethe bus starts the tour, and to make us to pay additional for taxi to bring us back to the hotel althought prior booking this tour I checked wheter it includes hotel drop off where I stay and from where I was picked up. Good tip, guide turned up on time but a certain amount of messing around while they bundle you in to the correct coaches at a distribution center on Mt Scopus. The guide was very good at getting us around lengthy queues at the Church of the Nativity but then forced us into a pricey Palestinian tourist-tat shop, telling us they were going to give us free mint tea as "traditional Palestinian hospitality".
It was a good tour, but I expected a bit more organization with the buses. I think it is very uncomfortable to be switching from bus to bus. I thought the trip would be one bus from the point of pick up and back. We were made to change bus at a different hotel on the way to Bethlehem. Also, I called one day earlier to ask if we were going to have time for buying snacks and they said yes but we didn't, so we didn't have any food or drinks except for the water we took with us. The tour guide in Spanish was excellent, very knowledgable and very nice. And one last point, on the way back, the driver dropped us off about two or three blocks away from the pick-up point. I understand the bus must leave you at the same point you were being pick-up from, in our case the David Citadel Hotel, so I recommend you to improve the service. Thank you for the opportunity to express our impressions of the tour.
Good chance to see several Christian holy sites - and to experience the tarnsfer into palestine. Tour guide was knowledgeable but a bit brusque for our liking. And we did not appreciate being shepherded into a gift shop at the end of our tour - why do you do this?
The trip to Bethlehem was okay. It was only a half day, so by definition it was rushed. It was a bit difficult because the Israeli guide could not go with us through the wall into the West Bank, and we had to meet the Palestinian guide on the other side. It all went smoothly, but it added a bit of stress to the day. They guide got us into the grotto in the Church of the Nativity by avoiding the long line. In the end, the tour was not great (no tour is), but we did get to see the highlights.
The tour guide in Bethlehem was excellent; however, the arrangements for pick up at our hotel were horrible. We booked this company because we had read bad reviews for another company we had been considering but I don't see how the other company could have been worse. We waited for well over an hour to be picked up at our hotel and then were deposited at a location where dozens of other people were standing about waiting to find their particular tour with no direction offered. Once the actual tour started everything was fine but everything leading up to it needs major correction.
The pick up in Jerusalem was disorganised chaos. The majority of the tour consisted of queueing for an eventual 30 seconds to see the birthplace of Jesus. The guide in the West Bank seemed tired and uninterested and robotically trotted out the staid old lines. He wasn't particularly interested in answering questions that weren't in the script. I would not recommend it if you are short on time. There are pobably better ways to spend the time it takes. It was interesting to go to Bethlehem and go through the wall into the West Bank, but I think a different tour company may have made it a better excursion. Beware some pickpockets in Bethlehem as well.
This tour was a waste of time. It was supposed to be a half day but turned into 8. When we arrived in Bethlehem, we switched to a Palenstian guide who more interested in getting us into a souvenir shop and restaurant where I am sure he received a cut. 2 hrs in line to see birth spot. DONT GO!
