I took this trip a few months ago and I thought it was great. I just took it again with my wife and it was even better this time! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and she spoke both English and Spanish fluently. The trip to Masada was great. The only complain I have (and had in my previous review), was that we didn't spend too much time at the Dead Sea. Also, I'm sure there are better places to visit in the Dead Sea, I wouldn't mind paying a few extra $$ for a cleaner shower and a bigger, and less crowded beach.

It was great fun getting plastered with mud and floating in the Dead Sea and the fort at Masada was very impressive. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but rather sergeant major like in her attitude to herding us around. We could have lived without the sales trip to the cosmetics factory - unwelcome commercilaisation in an otherwise rewarding tour.

A terrific tour led by a guide who had an obvious passion for the desert and the Dead Sea. Floating in the Dead Sea after a curative mud bath, followed by a relaxing 30 minutes in the warmth of the sulphur spring, is a great way to forget all your troubles.

Excellent value. The guide (forget the name) was magnficent and obviously very proud Israeli. Masada rates for me along with the Lost City of the Incas for spectacular enactment of previous history. The Dead sea was a unique experience but no one where I could personally see the value in spending an entire day as did some tour participants. Pick ups were prompt and whilst the congregation at meeting points with other tours was unavoidable it did not detract from the overall merits of the trip. Would certainly recommend

The trip was exactly as planned; on time, well-managed. We were very happy with the tour. It's our 2nd trip with viator , good experience.

This trip started out on a bad note. The company unfortunately could not find our reservation the day of the trip. The company sent a second driver over to pick us up so all was well from that point. The trip to Masada was awe inspiring. To see how a place of this magnitude was built on a mountain was very interesting. After Masada we had a trip to the Dead Sea which lasted about 1.5 hrs which I will say is more than enough time (you can only float for so long before the "thrill is gone"). FYI it is no easy task getting the salt out of your clothes two or three washings will be necessary :) All in all a very good trip!

Really enjoyable day out. Very good tour guide. Would have preferred more time at the Dead Sea spa and less time being encouraged to buy expensive Dead Sea beauty products, but we had a great time and even made friends with other people on the same tour. Would definitely recommend!

Extremely interesting but tour guides were never on time for pickup - even upto an hr. late! This left us less time to look around.
