Wonderful mix of majestic sites all in one enjoyable day. Good deal, knowledgeable staff.
We had a fantastic time on this excursion. Both of our bus drivers were knowledgeable and gave us lots of great information about Juneau and the wildlife. The crew on the ship were fun and worked really hard to make sure we got to see whales. We really enjoyed this outing!
John Jason and Olivia on the Whale Watch were great. Our bus driver she went back to Mendenhall Glacier is to pick up a lost bag!! Wonderful time all around! Female bus drivers where the best!!!
We started with a bus to the Juneau Whale watching tour,,the driver, Brandy was excellent, and the tour was awesome! Emily and Kelly were great as was the skipper. We saw a ton of whales no pun intended.
Brandy then took us to Medenhall glacier where we toured around and then Lonnie took us back to town. Great guy as well. Only down side was our city tour was overbooked-and the driver was rather surly with us. The shore guy got us on another tour be we had the same surly driver..oh well. All in all it was a great day with good value and lots of great sites!
It was a great experience and the first time I had seen whales in the wild. The guides on board were very knowledgeable and just as excited as we were for us to see the whales.
All of the guides we encountered on this trip were outstanding. We enjoyed the information and context for what we were seeing. Ben and Captain Nick on the whale watching segment were particularly great.
Great Tour! The city tour is brief but the city is small..no big deal. The trip to the glacier provided plenty of time to view and take photos. The best part is the Whale watching. The ship captain and crew really cared about our experience. We viewed a number of animals and enjoyed seeing the whales up close. The crew provided great narration on the area, wildlife, safety, and shared snacks. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!
It was a great experience - we started with the city tour then Mendenhall Glacier, I believe doing it this way we had plenty of time to follow all the trails , one to the shore line of the glacier and the other to Nugget falls, it was a long trail but a surprising end for it took you directly in front of the falls where you can take pictures and view the scenic beauty. After the falls we went on the whale watch portion of the tour - that was a spine jarring choppy ride out to see them, once there we saw a pod of about 6 whales - they were not close but we were able to see them and take some pics, what a great experience we had and we enjoyed ourselves - the Juneau Tour company was on time, scheduled and did a great job for their customers
Our guide said it was one of the top 3 times that he had seen the whole season. We had Humpbacks all around us and saw them fully breach several times!!! We got to witness whales lunge feeding and got many looks at whale tails as they prepared to dive down deep. Our captain Jason and his mate Steve were awesome and energetic and made the trip and sightings exciting, especially for our children.
The Mendenhall Glacier was amazon. the City Tour was very informative but the Whale watching was out of this world. Seeing Humpback whale bubble feeding is the most special thing that has ever happen too me. I seen a lot of humpback whale but never feeding like that.
Local people outstanding. Having booked other excursions directly with cruise line, hands down this one directly with local people not employed by cruise line was by far the best one of entire trip. The pricing was also better as the proverbial middle man, I.e.cruise line was not in the mix! Kudos for a job well done!
Whale watching experience was fantastic. We observed the whales breaching jumping out of the sea. Tour guides were very informative. Mendenhall Glacier was a great sight to see. City tour was OK.
This is a wonderful way to see all three parts of Juneau in a day. We toured the city, visited the glacier and went whale watching on a sunny day. The guides were great and we learned a lot in short amount of time.
Did we see whales - yes!! and sea lions as well.Thank you for a great experience.
Most importantly, we saw whales! The excursion was well co-ordinated. All of the people were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The boat itself was brand new.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Yes, we did see some whales! The Glacier was worth seeing as well. Recommend.
It was wonderful the whales were amazing and out host were friendly and knowledgeable
The highlights of this tour ware the glacier and especially the whale watch. We saw several pods of whales bubble feeding. It was amazing to see. Yje sights of Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls were also phenomenal.
This is the best way to see whales up close and we saw them bubble netting as well as breaching. Mendenhall glacier was good and the hike to the falls is worth it. The city tour was not that great.
Went on the combo tour and really enjoyed it. Would have liked to spend a little more time at the Glacier. We where only their for about 30 minutes. The gentlemen that took us on the whale watching was excellent!!
Great excursion. Guides were great and informative. Professionally run and organized.we really enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this excursion.
Great value! Got to see everything in a perfect amount of time. The whale watching was great fun and definitely saw whales, we had enough time at the glacier to take a short hike to the waterfall which was lovely and the city tour was short and sweet. Great excursions
We loved everything about our excursion. AJ and Captain John were great and we enjoyed watching 4 different whales, including a mama and her calf! We did our city tour first, then whale watching, followed by the Mendenhall Glacier. This allowed us sufficient time to view the glacier, Nugget Falls and hike the East Loop trail. The shuttles run consistently into 7 pm, which was convenient.
