Have your cameras ready at all times. There are whales breaching, tails coming out of the water and spray in the distance. It's not easy to catch on your camera, but it's fun to try.

There was a family of transient killer whales in the bay as we were heading out. We counted 4, but I am sure there were more. You won't see these on every trip, so it was very exciting.
