Juneau Shore Excursion: Whale-Watching and Glacier Flight
Whale-Watching
Begin your shore excursion with a 2.5-hour whale-watching and nature tour. From the decks of the vessel, you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of local wildlife, including humpback whales, sea lions, Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, orca whales, bald eagles and shorebirds. While on the trip, you will enjoy a delicious boxed lunch.
Flight-seeing
After the whale-watching cruise, you'll be transported to the local airport to enjoy a 30-minute flight-seeing tour. From your position in the aircraft, gaze down on the Inside Passage and the Juneau Icefield. You'll see many different landmarks, including Admiralty Island, Point Retreat Lighthouse, Funter Bay, Icy Strait, Lynn Canal, Herbert Glacier, Eagle Glacier, Mendenhall Glacier and dogsled camps, and Auke Bay.

excellent boat trip, weather closed in on glacier so we rebooked for later in day, we didnt get to top due to weather but flight was fab

We had a wonderful time! We saw at least 10 episodes of bubble net feeding by the humpback whales. The crews were very informative and it was nice being in a small group (6 on boat and 4 on plane) vs a large group,everyone was able to see sites very well. I was particularly appreciative of the boat crew because I have a broken ankle and they wheeled me down to the dock and got me safely on the boat.
Also this excursion was so much more reasonable than others that offered similar trips. Thanks for the good time.
