very beautiful trip and worth every penny! Even got a nice CD of beautiful Kauai from the plane! Thanks Ray and Brian. The McCartys 5/22/15
The pilot was awesome. He gave us the flight of a lifetime. He is very knowledgeable of the history on the island which makes the tour incredibly interesting. You will see things that you cannot get to. All the waterfalls and lava trails. Unforgettable!!
We had agreat flight! The pilot Brian was very nice and informative. While over the water he saw some whales jumping and he took us in for a closer look. That was way cool. It was a beautiful day for a trip over Kauai. I'd love to do it again. This is a definate thing to do while visiting this beautiful island.
The tour guide Paul whi was also the pilot was really good. Very friendly and knowledgable. And the tour it's self was amazing! Good to see from the air
A great way to see the total beauty of the island. Comprehensive commentary was provided by the pilot. One of the best tours we did on our holiday/
Even though it was a little rainy during our flight, we enjoyed it very much.
I think the overcast skys actually made for better photos. There was no glare from the sun.
Everyone at Air Ventures was friendly and knowledgable. We arrived a little early and had a nice chat with the gal at the front desk before our flight.
The scenery was really spectacular. I can see why Hollywood likes to film there.
If you have never flown in a small plane and are not sure about doing so, rest assured that it is a very easy and comfortable ride.
This is an excellent trip. Our pilot Nick made sure everyone saw every sight by turning the plane 360 so we all got the same photo opportunity. But the Island is the star - what a way to see Kauai with its contrasts of stunning costa - Na Pali from the air is just amazing and you will never see its full glory from anywhere else but a plane, flying down those amazing canyons - breathtaking. Stop thinking about booking this trip just book it. This is a must to appreciate all Kauai has to offer and this was an excellent company to use. Thank you to Air Ventures.
All of us thought the trip was terrific! To see the geography and topography of Kauai from the air was amazing! The pilot pointed out many landmarks, from Julia Robert's house (husband's favorite) to movie settings. The day was clear; the view was spectacular; the beaches were impressive. We were well-taken care of and safe!
Great tour with our pilot Brian, very thorough and took his time in answering questions and giving details regarding the highlights of the island.
This was an awesome experience. I would recommend this to anyone. It
This was great, over cast and all this was really somthing we talk about alot.
A great chance to see the island with a birds eye view and see mountain regions you are unable to reach by car. Well worth the time it takes as the pilot informs you of each differing parts of the island. The plane could do with some extra cushions on the seats for fatties like me other than that very very enjoyable flight.
Excellent introduction to the garden island. I would recommend this tour without reservation

Great tour with spectacular views of the island! Be sure to sit on the right hand side for better photos.
It was great to see the island from the view. You can appreciate the scenery fully.
The scenery was breathtaking, enjoyed every minute of it. The plane was very comfortable and the scenic flight was great value for money.
Outstanding scenery and magnificent views - Kauai by air is spectacular in its diversity. The staff were very friendly, organized, pilot was excellent, aircraft we had was in excellent condition and offered great viewing - a window each for all 5 of us. Having done Kauai some years ago by helicopter, this air tour compares very well -- quieter, flies surprisingly slowly, smoother, excellent for photography, though you don't get quite as close into the deep valleys. All up, a MUST DO!
The airplane tour over the island of Kauai was remarkable. I definitely would do this again on my next trip to Hawaii.
This was a good tour and the sights were amazing! If you are prone to motion sickness, I would not recommend. My husband got sick about 10 minutes into the tour. My daughter and I did ok, but got a little queasy. Would probably have done better on a helicopter. Our pilot/guide, Brian, did a great job though and the staff was so nice to my husband after the tour and did everything possible to make him feel better.
An air tour of the island is a must. It is the only way you can really see the island.
We encountered rain and low clouds which hampered visibility. The flight was comfortably
steady and the pilot provided a very comprehensive narration of what we were, or should
have been seeing. Strongly recommend seeing the island by air. Just be very aware of weather
conditions and potential effect on visibility.
We enjoyed the full island tour! Some reflection on our photos from the windows but it was nice seeing every thing from the air. My wife got a little overheated towards the end of the tour due to lack of air movement inside the plane but we both enjoyed it.
Kauai is a very pretty island and I'd advise that all visitors should try and see it from the air. I was surprised at how inexpensive an hour’s flight round the island was, and got more photos from this flight than the all of the rest of the trip combined. The flight flies a loop out to the steep sea cliffs at the far side of the island before passing between the mountains (taking in a view of the highest / wettest point) and flying over the more lowland areas to finish off with an arial view of a waterfall into a cenote like feature. The tour firm pick you up from and drop you back at your hotel and ensure that you get at least one photo of yourself standing in front of the plane. The only slight issues were that towards the end of the flight the turbulence was becoming stomach churning to the point where I couldn't have taken much more, and the flight was about 5 minutes short of the hour. Other than that the cloud base was high enough for us to see everything and I'd strongly recommend this tour as you’ll see swathes of the island that you simply can’t see by any other means.
