It was a beautiful night! The grounds were immaculate. The entertainment was superb and the luau meal to die for. I don't have a bad thing to say about this experience. The best I have been to yet.
We had visited Kauai 3 years ago and went to another luau but since we were staying in Kapaa this time we chose Smith's Luau. Smith's was by far the best of the two luaus we have been to. The drinks were plenty, the food was fantastic (which they encouraged you to go for 2nds and 3rds) the staff were all friendly and nice and the entertainment was top notch. The only complaint was the seating for the entertainment was not pleasant to sit on and my husband and son both have back issues and it hurt their backs. Seating could be improved on.
The luau was great! It was well organized, the staff was great. The grounds were lovely. The food was marvelous. The entertainment was a delightful professional production. Well worth the money and the time. Definitely would recommend this.
nice atmosphere, well organized, good food, good cultural show but a little long.
The show was fantastic and the food was exquisite. The landscape was absolutely beautiful. I got a lot of fabulous pictures. I'd recommend this to everyone who visits the island,
I would advise anyone to take this luau trip as part of your vacation. Well planned, food was great, show was great, very pretty setting weather great I would rate as 5 star
It was very nice and the food was great..The rice pudding was the best I have ever tried,
This was an enjoyable evening, however it was not exactly what we were expecting. Dinner was good food excellent, but in a large dinning area with the show afterwards. Was expecting the meal to be during the show. Seating for the show was probably the only downside as it was old bench style and uncomfortable.
Pleasantly surprised. It is located in the road with no name and lots of surrounding construction.
Fun, but a little more on the "touristy" side than I expected. Too many people. We had to wait a very long time for our table to be allowed to get our Buffett style meal, we were the last table to be allowed get in line. When I informed the staff that I was a diabetic they were not accommodating.
It was fun and enjoyable. Would like to see some changes in the dancers part of the evening. Pretty much the same thing repeated.
I just thought they took all of the authenticity out of the Luau and made it very commercialized. I felt like I was at busch gardens or on a busy cruise ship having dinner. I especially didn't like the pig roasting part.
food was good. show too long. Glad to get back to the hotel
