Our tour ended up being with HoloHolo Charters and they were simply wonderful. They had our Viator reservation and it was no problem at all to confirm our booking. Having been on another NaPali sunset dinner cruise, I can say without question that the HoloHolo boat is by far the better experience. More seating both outdoors and inside as well as two bathrooms. These are located on the single, main deck as opposed to having to go down tiny winding stairs on a rocking boat to get to the "Head". The crew (Captain Glenn, Matt and Kelly) couldn't have been more attentive, with getting drinks, assistance navigating around the boat, and with any questions regarding the history or landscape of Kauai. We were blessed with almost perfect conditions with regards to the weather and the waves and were able to go quite close to the coast and had numerous whale and dolphin sightings. I know this is not always the case so we knew how fortunate we were! I personally am not prone to seasickness at all and had no problems, although a couple of passengers did feel queasy. But Matt and Kelly were both right there to administer aid with dramamine and ginger ale the moment they began to feel the symptoms. Viator leads you to believe that the menu will be appetizers, and I suppose that is because they book you with whatever cruise company has availability, but know that your menu may not be exactly as stated. But really - who goes to the NaPali coast for the food?! The view is really the draw! And the NaPali coast is breathtakingly spectacular!

We had a four hour catamaran trip to the Na Pali coast of Kauai. It was all inclusive (food and drinks, including beer and cocktails). The trip was great. Nice boat with a good crew. The day we went it was quite windy, and the seas a little rough, but it was fun. We saw quite a few whales. The scenery was spectacular, and we were able to take in a great sunset, with a champagne toast. I would highly recommend this tour.

Indescribable, one of the most beautiful places in Hawaii. Excellent service, generous with drinks, food okay, vegetarian and not aware of this from web site but very fresh veggies! The staff was very attentive, the best excursion of done in Hawaii!

This was a really good trip. It was a fast trip up to the Napali Coast and then a slow trip back. Plenty of Photo opportunities. The dinner was very good and staff excellent. On returning to Port Allen, the boat stopped so we could watch the beautiful sunset.

The trip was wonderful, the staff and food was great. They could have had a better beer selection. Setting up the trip through Viator was definitely sub-par: for example, the email from Viator indicated that we did not need printed vouchers, when in fact we did.

3 star rating: Worth doing

The view is great and the captain and the whole crew wanted to please. Since I do not know anything about the nautical aspect of this I cannot say if we were in rough water that was enhanced by the captain's desire for adventure or not. If you know you get motion sickness don't do it without heavy medication because this trip from what I experienced can be rough. Even though they warn you it can be dangerous, one passenger who was holding on while standing which we must do, was knocked to his feet slamming onto the boat floor. I am giving this a 3 star because if you are really prepared it is worth doing.
