Our trip was with the HoloHolo tours. Their vessel, crew and provisions were excellent handling our every need in a willing and graceous manner. The skipper was quite informative. He spoke of the islands and structures, the care and concerns for the environments and made the journey quite enjoyable. The crew were fun and made everyone comfortable and accommodated each need. Everyone was friendly.
Although we didn't expect to see everything in the brochure (as the seasons were coming to an end) we did see manta rays, monk seals spinner dolphins, pods of dolphin families and several whales. The scuba time was excellent. We were well prepared and informed and completely safe (we were told that there had been 11 deaths from drowning already this season compared to only two last year).
The Na Pali coast was magnificent and Captain provided running commentary along its entire length.
I appreciated the crew's expressed concern for the sanctity of the various tribal communities, their traditions and their sacred areas. Respect for the land and the peoples was very present.
The beauty of the island areas cannot be express fully in a few words. The magnificence of God's Creation and what He has done in this part of the world is fully expressed. Enjoy it if you get the chance. Reverence it when you do. Leave it better than when you came. Celebrate it to the fullest.

Overall great experience. Lively, friendly, knowledgeable captain and crew made the tour very enjoyable. The ride along the Na Pali coast was absolutely stunning, and we were treated to plenty of whale sightings – dolphins even came and swam alongside the boat, which was magical! Snorkeling was fun, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the ice-cold beers were a nice refreshment after snorkeling. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kauai!

It was sooooo awesome. Riding the front of the catamaran to the Forbidden Island was the best time of my life. Oh the beautiful colors of the water. One of the best snorkel spots I have ever been to. Highly recommended

Wonderful Cruise, we loved the boat and the sights were amazing along the Napali Coast. The oportunity to visit the shores of Ni'ihau was a special treat and the snorkelling was a lot of fun. We also really enjoyed the food and crew. Thanks, great trip.

A fantastic full day of boating, snorkeling - and eating! Everything about this day cruise was well run and professional. Plenty of interesting commentary and information from the captain and crew who are clearly passionate about snorkeling and diving, and what they do on board. A really enjoyable day out and great value for money!

The crew were wonderful - attentive and good fun, the boat was first class with lots of inside and outside spaces for everybody to chose from, and the food (plenty of it!) was great too. All in all this was our favourite day in the beautiful Hawaiian islands, and definitely an experience I'll be recommending to anybody who'll listen. The cruise leaves from Port Allen which is on the South East corner of Kauai, so factor in about 40 minutes drive from Lihue at that time of the morning, and more for towns further North.

Recommended with caution. If you have motion sicknes at all, I don't recommend it. My wife took motion sickness pills and still got sick. However, I was fine and the scenery was amazing . The snorkeliing was great. The ride was wild. The captain called it an E ticket ride for those that know the old Disney term for wild rides. It was definitely that. It was a wild ride back. Fun, but as I said any MOTION SICKNESS I would stay away

The captain, crew and the event were fantastic. The scenery is unbelievable, accessible only by boat or a very long hike which most tourists would not make. Take seasick medication if you are prone to motion sickness as the motion of the boat is signficant and according to the outstanding crew, passengers frequently experience seasickness. The captain provides this warning very adequately to all passengers beforehand! Aside from that normal challenge with any sea trip of this type, the outing was outstanding!
