Great ride. So much fun. Very professional. The pick up was comfortable, and the vehicle was clean.
They provided us with all the safety gear. That was a hoot. The zodiac boats were clean, ran well and had the power when needed. Our guide Jason? sorry should remember. Was very professional, fun, informative, native to the area. Saw my first eagles nest. So thrilling. A must do with this company.
Take a your camera and binoculars. Sun glasses, gloves and hat a must.
Cannot fault the whole trip.the guide was brilliant, the boats were great fun, we had a ball. We took a 8 and 10 year old and they loved it. no whales on that day but it could not be helped. Pick up was a little confusing but got sorted in the end, then we had our own van to take us back with a friendly member of staff! cannot recommend enough! If unsure just remember you only live once
This was awesome! The boats were a blast to drive and saw lots of wildlife.
Much more fun than a "normal" tour.
Ethan was our guide. Informative and fun. He made the trip an experience we won't forget. Highly recommend this excursion!
Beautiful scenery. Nice clean new boats. The tour guide was well informed, polite and always had safety in mind.
Beautiful day to be on the water. Guide was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we understood everything (scenery and wildlife) we were exposed to. Highly recommended.
WoW what a great excursion. The zodiac boats were a blast; my husband and our group loved being able to drive these boats! We had great weather (June 20, 2013), saw lots of wildlife (whale, seals, eagles). The tour guide Sean was very personable and informative. I would highly recommend this adventure.
Well to say this was quite a thrilling trip is probably an understatement. We had our guide Billy all to ourselves. We followed him around the beautiful bays while he pointed out eagles and seals and explained the nature of the alpine forest. If he hadn't run out of gas it would have been perfect!
The weather was phenom. About 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The trip is 360 for two people which quite honestly is too high for a zodiac boat. It was beautiful and there were salmon jumping, eagles flying and the scenery is special. Our guide was a hoot and we had fun. It was the best of the tours but part of that was the WEATHER.
Whales were sooooo close! It was amazing to see them and to be out on the open water in such a small boat. The insulated suits that were provided were very necessary and did the job well, we stayed dry and warm. I don't think this is a great trip for folks who don't have boat driving experience. We went very fast on the water and an inexperienced driver made everyone else in the other boats very nervous. Also, it took waaay too much time to get us outfitted into our suits and our allotted boat time was wasted on this task. The guides were very helpful and eager to please. It wasn't as fabulous as we had hoped, but it certainly was exciting and beautiful.
There should be some exceptions to the rain or shine policy. We were out in pouring rain with the temperature at 46 degrees. When you get the zodiac up to speed the wind chill is atrocious and the rain stings like sleet.
We completed the tour but essentially saw nothing and really did not enjoy ourselves.
We liked the zodiac and the setting just hated the weather.
The trip could have been deferred as we had time but this was not offered.
Buyer beware but if it is a good day, it should be a great experience.
Pick-up arrangements need improving. We lost all of an hour before being picked up as our mobiles did not work in North America. An e-mail address would have solved the problem, as it did for our Skagway trip.
Do not take this trip if it is raining. I was so scared. If it is a nice day it would have been nice but with winds blowing, high seas and pelting rain it was miserable.
