A lot of different activities throughout the day, all enjoyable especially the elephants. Very fun and hardworking guide on the day.

Amazing tour with local guides. Highlight of Koh Samui
This was the best tour we arranged through Viator. Guide was very efficient and took us to many places other tours did not. Took us to one of the best restaurants we visited in our 2 weeks abroad. Elephant Park was clean, very friendly and was a blast!!

Awesome experience!!! Got more than I was expecting, including mid morning fruit, refreshment and lunch. Visitors are encouraged to touch and pat the elephants and monkeys. They encourage tipping to buy fruit for the animals which you can feed them, which also helps ensure the animals eat well. The guide was excellent and was responsible for the small group for the entire day, spoke clearly and was very friendly and happy to provide comphrehensive insights into the animals, sights and answer your questions. The animal experience was amazing. We even stopped to see tigers. Take some extra baht for photos, tips, tigers. Overall, excellent value.
The price was very good and we really enjoyed the activities on the tour. You get up close and personal with monkeys, elephants, and we had the chance to hold a baby tiger and take pictures with it for an additional charge. The only downside of the tour was that there was a thunderstorm with heavy rain for about an hour and we got soaked riding in the back of the vehicle. It has a tarp covering it but the sides have no covering so we got hit by rain from the side and splashes from the road.
Great guide, great activities, friendly people. The only negative experience we had was the weather which is realy not the tours fault and the looooong drive back to the Hotel /-40 minutes in the cold and rain at the back of the car, all the way around the island.
Tour was great - all of the activities were in the same location so you were able to see/do a lot in a short amount of time. Price via Viator is a lot higher than you'd pay once you get to the island. Island Safari (name of the tour) was great, but you'd be better off booking once you get to the island.

Good entertainment and Good Value. Although some tours double up E.G. Elepnat and Monkey shows.

Was a good day full of good surprises extra bonus events added ad hoc. Hosting tour company and local staff are absolutely polite and pay extra effort for your comfort!! Swim at the falls, elephant ride, watching her eat Thai apples while riding was precious memory! The monkey training was interesting but felt the monkeys shouldn't have been in restraints.
This was a great trip but slightly misleading in the description. You think that you're going on an island safari but you're merely taken to a place, which has all the following in one area: elephant trekking some are chained by their feet :o, elephant show, monkey show, thai cookery show this is a cold salad which you can sample, hardly cookery, fish spa these are unhygienic so we didn't take part and a Muay Thai boxing demonstration.
Firstly, the elephant ride isn't 30 minutes, more like 15 minutes. We had already purchased bananas for the chained up elephants and when the driver of our elephant asked us if we wished to purchase bananas for the elephant that we were riding on, we declined and he seemed quite put out by this response. He continued to make me a ring, necklace and bracelet out of bamboo leaves!! Nice!
There was an ox that we were able to sit in the cart and take a short ride around the cookery demonstration, lasted roughly 5 minutes.
The rubber tapping was hardly a demonstration, it was our tour guide who just showed us the trees and the finished results and explained that he didn't really know what happened.
Once we had seen all of the above, we were then taken in one of the open topped jeeps to a waterfall where we were able to have time to swim in the fresh water. We were also served up lunch there's no choice, but there was a lot of food for the 2 of us and very nice. You need to pay extra for your drinks.
Overall, we felt slightly cheated in the fact that all the activities were in one location and were sad that the elephants were chained and looked like they were going slightly mad, but a very enjoyable half a day.
Whilst the tour was interesting and the food was excellent at the restaurant you chose for lunch, the area where the elephants etc were was very untidy and dirty. We did not expect to see piles of rubbish including bottles, cans, old unwanted items strewn all over the area. It was very disappointing.
This is not a safari. The activities all take place in a small park. Although the elephants were great, none of the other activities were very exciting.
The trip to the waterfall was nice and it's a good way to get around the whole island although no sites etc are pointed out!

I enjoyed this, but as we were only two on this trip, our guide was trying to find things for us to do to pass time. The elephants did not appear to be as well kept as elephants on other trip I booked locally.
a dissapointment , the park was an artificial one , in town , while we expected sthg in the islands jungle
a lot of activities we did not ask fro and were not intrested in
the animals looked poor and dirty and suffering with those people
Terrible. Worst day trip Ive ever been on. It's rubbish and way too pricey for what it is. It's run by amateurs. Don't do it!!
I really, really wanted to love this tour. I booked this tour before I left to Thailand thrilled at the idea of riding an elephant. The description describes a lengthy elephant ride (30 minutes), implies that the elephant ride might be somewhere beautiful and picturesque to "see Koh Samui's natural wilderness from a different perspective". I liked the notion of the cooking class and other demonstrations, with lunch included. Its possible that I was put on the wrong tour, because what I got was very different than described, quite unusual with my experiences with Viator.
The driver who picked me up at the hotel was careless, drove insanely fast and almost injured other tourists by driving into flora and fauna that scraped into the back of the truck opening. The local safari that he brought us to was not very clean or organized. The safari displayed a very sad young elephant chained to a post who was "dancing" for us with music, but the animal did not seem to be in the best health, nor did the chained conditions seem pleasant. The monkey show was similar in nature, the chains on the animals detracting greatly from the experience. The elephant ride was about 10 minutes, taking us through back paths filled with trash, debris and homes of very poor locals. Lunch was not included, though I was taken on a tour to the grandmother and grandfather rock, the big buddha, the mummified monk, a waterfall and a local town with about an hour for lunch and sightseeing which was very rushed. I was hoping to see the elephants in a more natural setting, and left instead feeling very sad and sorry for the animals. I would not recommend this particular tour.

I was not really impressed with this tour. Firstly, the English of the staff which conducted the tour was far below average, making it hard for a tourist such as ourselves to communicate with the tour guide for any requests. The tour did not provide sufficient clean amenities and toilets for your customers. The elephant trekking section of the tour was too short. The vehicle was not air-conditioned as your advertisements mentioned. The vehicle that was provided on the tour was far far below working condition and was the left over 1949 war jeep which continually broke down during the tour and continued to stop and cut out. The jeep was in such bad condition that due to my poor back condition I was left in quite alot of pain at the end of the tour because the roads and the seating conditions were so bad that my back received quite a beating! I would not recommended this tour to anyone here again.
