Excellent trip, highly recommend it. Our guide Ana was fantastic - very passionate in her delivery of information. It is longer than a half day - 11am to near 6pm for us - but well worth your time. Must do trip if you are in Krakow.
This tour was very informative and was done at a pace of not being rushed . Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had .i would definatly recommend viator and use them again . A five star service from pick up to drop off
This is NOT a half day - you will leave at 8.30am and get back by about 3:30pm so just bear that in mind. Take snacks and water and comfortable shoes. And tissues - lots of tissues. It is harrowing but very worthwhile. Hard to call in enjoyable under the circumstances but I am glad I did it. Our tour guide, Wojciek, was adorable and so helpful.
Everything about the trip was amazing. The tour guide was so informative and interesting, the guide on the bus was a lovely Polish girl who was very kind and informative. It was very upsetting but I think people need to know exactly what happened as I did not realise the severity of the torture these poor people incurred by the Third Reich.
Well organised and very clearly explained by the guides. A must visit site.
Everyone should see Auschwitz and the video on the way to the camp was informative. Local tour guides were great.
This is my second time to Kraków and I still found this tour so educational and moving. The tour we took was over Easter weekend so it was very busy other museums and such were mainly closed but at no point did I feel we were being rushed or not given the same amount of information as any other time. The bus collection was close to our hotel and arrived early, the tour guide was helpful and informative while we were traveling and all the instructions given for times and pick ups were very clear. On arrival due to the amount of people we were split into groups, we waited in line for our allocated time and then our particular tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau we were given two guides, the young man who accompanied us on the bus who translated from the main guide of the camp tour this took a little longer but was still worth standing just a little longer in places. When we arrived at our second stop the weather was awful wind and snow coming in sideways! So we were given the choice of a long or slightly shorter version of events and although I had been before, I could not tell the group had chosen the shorter version. It was amazing that I managed to see by chance the other side of the camp this time around and it was still so emotionally draining. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour company looked after us the whole time. The only thing I would say is:- this states a 'half' day tour, you do really need to have a whole day put aside for the earlyish pick up and later afternoon drop off. A must do tour.
Very well organised, Excellent guide not rushed , Well worth going good value
Coach courier most helpful. Tour guide excellent. Trip extremely worthwhile.
One cannot really say this is a visit to enjoy, more that everyone should do it at least once.
The journey to the camps sets the tone with a wartime video that brings a harsh reality to what is about to be experienced. At both the camps the guide gives out an amazing amount of information unemotionally, but with great sensitivity. No matter how much you think you know before going you will learn a lot more. The quality of the English spoken by the guide ensures that nothing will be missed.
The museum achieves a respectful balance between respect for those who suffered here and demonstrating to visitors what remains of the place and how things happened
The tour itself was well organised and would recommend it.
The tour was very informative regarding the Holocaust and also provided interesting insight into the Polish history of the event.
an excellent and moving trip with a great guide very informative and spoke excellent English
Extremely well done. It's a tough place but the guide Simon was very good also too the movie shown on the bus going there.
(en) good tour first in auschwitz then in birkenau; our guide was excellent.
We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which made the day very easy. The tour was very well organised, the English speaking guide was knowledgeable and very respectful. This is a must do in Krakow, it does take most of the day nevertheless well worth it.
Totally recommend this.
A very sad but memorable day , the tour guide was excellent, I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking of going.
This tour was amazing visiting both camps and the guide very knowledgeable.
