I'm sure that all the words that can be said have already been said. Suffice to say I'm glad I went. With regards to viator, the guide was very informative and the DVD on the coach primed you en route.

It's difficult to review this tour. Organisation and tour guides all excellent. All i can say is that this tour is a must for everyone. You will not enjoy it, it is heartbreaking. As much as we all know or may not know about Auschwitz-Birkenau, this tour brings you to it's heart.

Our tour guide, who spoke perfect English, gave a moving insight into the conditions suffered by the prisoners of Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was a harrowing experience, particularly seeing piles of boots, hair and glasses, but I advise everyone to make the trip. We must ensure it never happens again.

The tour guide was super the best guide i have ever experienced.
only word of caution. my confirmation voucher stated that tour was to leave at 9.30 am but infact it was 9 am, but we went early to find the bus departure location, just as well as bus left at 9 am !

I went to this visit with my wife and was surpised about how little we both knew about various aspects of the camp. The tour guide we had was acceptional.

Everyone should see this. It snowed the day we went and was uncomfortable, but the loical guide was outstanding. This is a must for anyone who needs their faith restored in American pride and ethics..

Well...what can you say? This is the reason we came to visit Krakow. I won't describe the sights - as there is plenty of other information online, and in books about it. I'll comment just on the tour: they pick you up in the morning (8:30?), and got us back by about 3 or 4. We were given a guided tour for a couple of hours through the smaller Auschwitz compound, given a quick 15 minute break late-ish for grabbing a bite to eat (there are a couple of kiosks here to get chocolates, hotdogs, and drinks). After this, we went to the Aushwitz-Birkenau camp, and spent some time seeing this area. The tour is well done, and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit these places.
