This is an experience not to be missed and a lesson not to be forgotten. It was simple, stark, and realistic along with being a very moving experience.

I'm glad I went. It was very moving. I did feel at times we were being pushed through because of more tourists behind us, also I wished that the visit to Birkenau had been longer, as we didn't see a lot of the site. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the museum and history. Perhaps if we'd had more time we would have gone back on our own to see the bits, but we didn't have time for it but I still am glad we went with the tour guide in the first place.

"Absolutely loved it" is an inappropriate description. But it is a must-see. The guide at Auschwitz was very informative.

A somber but very interesting trip. It really put a lot of things into perspective for me. I think we have to remember the atrocities that happened in order to prevent history from repeating itself. Very effective display of information and personal memorabilia. Excellent local guide.

I was overawed by this trip, only the sight of the Auschwitz-Birkenau can offer a small glimpse into the horrors of the concentration camps. It is not to be missed

The trips we booked through Viator were excellent and a great value for the money. We also did another tour, and on both trips, our guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Very humbling experience. Film on coach was excellent. Guide at Auschwitz also excellent, though would have liked more time to view ruined gas chambers and memorials at Birkenau.

I don't know if it's appropriate to say "I loved it", but it was definitely worthy of the four stars. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a very surreal experience. I don't even know how to describe the trip but I think that everyone should go if they have the opportunity, it is very worthwhile and serves as a haunting reminder as to what happened not so many years ago.
As for booking in advance, this worked very well for us and we were picked up right on time. As we decided to go on this trip on our first day we found it beneficial to book before we left as it doesn't then eat into any money you have with you and you don't have the hassle of trying to find out where to book the tours. Also on the journey home the guide offered us tickets to other tours such as the Salt Mines and as we were students we were given a 50 discount!! Everyone else was offered a 10 discount - not bad!
It was a very informative tour with guides who spoke excellent English. To see and hear what went on was an unforgettable experience. The transfers to and from the hotel were great. Thank you!
