Beautiful and worth the stairs down! Lots of walking involved. Amazing a whole underground city.
The tour itself was excellent and would recommend the visit to anyone.
The pick up and waiting times to get there however , were very tedious 8.55 pick up then transfer to bigger bus in Crakow, which was another 45 min wait. 2 hours before arrival at mine!!
Well worth the visit. A most unbelievable tour 135 meters underground. Stunning sculptures and caverns
Collected by air conditioned coach, journey time approx 25 mins. Tour provider was friendly, organised and informative. Handed over to Salt Mines tour guide, queued to enter for approx 15 mins. Tour lasts 2h 10 mins, 4km of walking with two short 5 min breaks. The scale and facilities of the Salt Mine is impressive. Tour information about the statues carved, the mining techniques, the historical origins of the mine and the function of the rooms visited. I have never visited anywhere like it, I am recommending it to anyone I know planning to visit Krakow.
An interesting, unusual and very well organised trip. The salt mines are very impressive and well worth a visit although I would hesitate to recommend it to older visitors or those whose mobility is impaired as our tour guide marched us round at a fair pace and we covered quite a distance in the two and a half hour tour. Otherwise I would fully recommend a visit and we found viator to be very good value for money
Fascinating tour, made all the more enjoyable by the excellent local guide speaking fluent English. Hard to believe that the mining had been going on for so long.
This was a fascinating trip. St Kinga's cathedral is amazing. Our guide was very informative.
This was a great trip! The tour guides were excellent and the mines were incredible! A MUST see in Krakow!! !
I loved this tour. I was surprised at how much there was to see. The tour guide was very informative and funny.
Very good experience, mines well worth the visit, well organised
Most amazing place ever and all staff very nice and great guides
This tour is totally worth doing. However, the tour group was a few persons too large, so we felt hurried and did not have time to take in the sights and sounds. This mine is 700 years old, therefore has lots of history. It is fascinating, so it would have been great to have time to stroll through. We must stress that this is beyond the control of the tour operator as the salt mine tours are run by the mine organisation.
