A totally amazing experience. I didn't expect to see such elaborate large spaces decorated with chandeliers, a statue of the Pope and a framed picture of The Last Supper carved out of salt. Our tour guide's English was perfect and even had dry sense of humour. Would definitely recommend this tour.
One of the world wonders. The guide was great and the visit amazing.
I'm actually quite claustrophobic but the trip was do-able in that regards. There are a lot of enclosed spaces and high drops but the experience is worth over coming any of these issues. The cathedral and the various rooms give an excellent incite into the past.
The tour was excellent and very informative. The only thing I would change is that we should have been given time to visit the souvenier shops outside the mine.
Very enjoyable tour and well worth a visit. Comfortable coach journey and knowledgeable guide. Easily booked through Viatour.
Absolutely fantastic. The place is breathtaking. Our guide was very knowledgable.
All arrangements for the tour went well. The tour ran smoothly and our guide at the Salt Mine was interesting and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour.
Interesting and enjoyable, but be warned this is a long walk and you need to be good on your feet!
The salt mine is incredible. I never imagined it would be so amazing. Seeing all those chambers, statues, the church and hall all made of salt so many metres underground is absolutely incredible. Our mine guide was very good and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone. Its not surprising that the mine is a World Heritage site.
Amazing place. Really enjoyed it. Would recommend this to everyone
An excellent tour, surprising, and visually fanastic. Well worth the money, great guide very informative. Wear sensible footwear for there is a few kilometers of walking and stairs to negotiate. The restoratation and building of the underground structures to accommodate cafes waiting rooms etc is excemplary.
a brilliant trip and very well organised. It is an amazing place and we went at a popular time so it was crowded but if you listen to the guide and dont wander off it flows as it should.limited time at gift shops was a criticism we read on this site before going and it was correct but the fault lies more with the shop staff, although friendly and helpful they were not quick thinking.we are so glad we booked and did not try to do it alone.
AMAZING PLACE. Tour very informative, wonderful sculptures. A must for all visitors to Krakow. Easy to book with Viator.
Outstanding! One of the great wonders of the world. Breathtaking experience for all the family. Cheers. Pat
Great tour. Bus guide was very knowledgeable and gave very good background information. The tour guides inside the mine was also excellent and what a wonderful experience.
fantastic tour a little slow in getting admitted great guide interesting and some stunning visual features a must see experience
A unique experience with very interesting and informative guides. Well worth the time.
Excellent. Pick up from hotel was spot on time. The trip was full and informative and well worth the hour journey. Fascinating place - as long as you can walk well and your knees can take the 50 odd sets of 7 stairs! Well recommended.
Well organized tour! The salt mines are absolutely amazing! Worth seeing!
Interesting tour and both the guides were good. the pace was also pretty good so i enjoyed it very much.
I couldn't fault any aspect of this tour except that due to the huge numbers of people there, we found the speed of the actual tour very fast to take everything in. The guides seemed to be under pressure to get through in a rigid time slot.
The salt mine itself was incredible and well worth seeing.
This was a wonderful if tiring experience! Warning to the out-of-shape: Just because you are walking DOWN the 382 steps, it is still a strenuous exercise. AND it doesn't end there. Many more steps appear throughout the tour. You will walk A LOT and your calf muscles will remind you of your experience the following day. But it is worth it as the mine is a unique place and the tour guides do an excellent job of explaining, herding, and accounting for each person they lead into the mine. The chapel is beautiful and there are opportunities for snack and toilet breaks under ground.
Excellent trip in every respect. Well organised, very good English speaking guide. Must be the best mine visit anywhere, a real wow. We need not have worried about all the stairs, they were much easier than anticipated. Recommended as a "must do" if you have the time whilst in Krakow.
