Definitely worth doing, but steps and walking can be quite strenuous for anyone suffering from arthritis. It would be fine if you could do it at your own pace, but you have to keep up with your party. Otherwise I would recommend it.

There were times when I felt we were being pushed through because the next group of tourists was waiting behind us. However, this was just an indication of its popularity and didn't reflect on the tour organizer, because I believe the tour itself was with the mine staff. I did enjoy it and was glad I went.

The salt mine was a different experience. The kind of art work the miners have done in the salt mine is worth seeing. The guide in her early 20s was very chirpy and energetic.

This was an unusual trip, but very interesting. The guides were good and very informative, and pick up at the hotel was very prompt. The Poles have made a worthwhile attraction out of salt mines!

It was very interesting, though you shouldn't have had to pay to take photos.

Guide was superb. The tour was both informative without being boring and fun without being childish. A brilliant use of 3 hours.

This is Worth visiting, if only for the Chapel of St. Kinga, which includes Da Vinci's Last Supper sculpted into the rock salt and the salt statue of Pope John Paul II within the Chapel. However, some of the figurines throughout the mine need to be replaced, the underground lakes needs better lighting, and it would have been nicer to spend more time at the underground cafe and tourist stalls.
