I loved Zakopene. Loved Poland. Loved the tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Quite possibly the best tour that I have been on because of the guide. Loved Zakopane, too. Great little village town. Wished I had more time there. Kicking myself for not buying something in the open air markets. Great wool slippers, sheepskin, and local products. Not touristy at all. Wonderful memories.

Excellent day out with very knowledgeable guide. Would have liked a little extra free time to walk about.

Even though the weather was rotten, Zakopane is a beautiful village. This tour was excellent with a knowledgeable tour guide. Well worth the money.

Extremely good guide. There was snow the night before and was still snowing - made for a magical day. Strongly recommend this.

We really enjoyed the tour, the scenery was breathtaking. There was not enough time to see the mountains from the top of the cable car, only about forty five minutes. We wanted to spend longer there.

The guide was excellent. He really knew his stuff. The tour could have been longer on the mountains. As we only went to the top and back again.

We had a marvellous trip. Our guide certainly knew his stuff, and his English was better than ours. He made the day with his knowledge of the countryside and pointed out lots of things to see. When I needed a bathroom, he found a nice clean safe petrol station. Zakopane is a lovely place. The weather was terrible, and we were not lucky enough to see the Tatras Mountains; however, we did manage to be there on the day they had their first snow of the season, and that was fun. The guide did his best to keep us all happy, and the tour of the houses and cemetery was very enlightening. Although it was a long day, we both enjoyed it, and seeing and learning about the people and their lives was brilliant.

The trip was very well organised. The guide was excellent. Unfortunately we had torrential rain all day so didn't see anything, we are sure it would have been good in better weather conditions!!

Zakopane is really beautiful and worth doing. It gives you another vision of Poland, because it's the only region with mountains and offers a different view.

We were very surprised to find it so busy and commercialized. From the description we imagined a quiet rural ski village. Scenery en route was a chance to see more of Poland which was good.

The view from the mountain was very nice. However, spending 5 hours to get there and back wasn't worth it. After the mountain, the guide took us to a church and then set us free for 2 hours to eat and walk the streets. If you are into shopping, this tour may be for you.

There was confusion which ended with us standing on a coach to go to 2 places to get on our coach which made us late leaving. When we got there it was raining and there were queues in the rain so we did not go in the museum or the cemetery! We separated for lunch and shopping and people arrived back late so we went to the train up the mountain walked round as we could not see anything and went down again 20 minutes start to finish then a route march through mud back to the coach! No toilet breaks on a two hour journey going plus an hour getting to the coach and over three hours going back because of traffic! Certainly not recommended for anyone who is not fit.
