Although a wet day with many visitors at the site we experienced a wonderful tour of this amazing place. Your guide was brilliant- she was the only one with a green umbrella so we couls locate her with ease. Hedr cvommentary was first class.
This was a good tour and our guide was very knowledgeable. We certainly would have missed some of the significance of the Ephesus site if we went on our own. Our guide scheduled visits to St Johns church and the Virgin Mary's house to go at the least busy time, however, with several cruise ships in port and Ephesus being the star attraction, you cannot help but share the Ephesus experience with hundreds of other people. Still, our guide did a great job getting us through the site. I did not like the carpet presentation at the end. While the lunch was good and the presentation interesting, of course there is a hard sell to buy a carpet. I had absolutely no interest in buying a carpet, so it made me feel awkward. However, all the tours seemed to include this stop
Mr. Merat, our guide was outstanding in all respects. Very knowledgeable! There were only 5 of us on this excursion and the van was almost new and comfortable. Only downside was the long carpet presentation at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour.
Everything about the tour was perfect. The vehicle was really comfortable, the tour guide outstanding and the programme extremely well organised. Anothet highlite was the traditional lunch. I can really recommend this visit to anyone!
Our guide, Ismael, was very well informed and spoke excellent English. Old Ephesus was definitely the highlight and was not very crowded the day we went. Mary's home and John's church were also fascinating. The Turkish lunch was quite good and the carpet weaving demonstration educational.
There isnt anything to see in Kusadasi so a trip to Ephesus is an absolutely must! It was pretty amazing and our guide was very good. Its pretty overwhelming, how big it really is and I really enjoyed Mary House.
Excellent tour with an excellent guide. As it turned out there were only 4 people on the tour which made it even better. The guide was very clear and a first class communicator. We had good time at all the locations and a delicious lunch in the gardens of the carpet co-operative. The carpets were beautiful and good value as works of art. Would not hesitate to go again on this tour. Great value too.
Great tour. Highly recommended. Our guide was fantastic, lunch was delicious and the tour was well put together and very informative. 5 stars!
A great excursion with a very knowledgeable, English speaking guide. Great value for the price.
Tour guide was very informative and I would say the best way to see the sites. You have to do carpet presentation at the end ,which is where they try to sell you very expensive hand sewn rugs,FYI...
Everything we expected. Our guide, Mahmet, was informative, a good communicator and we enjoyed the itinerary.
Would certainly use Viator again.
Far exceeded the ship-provided services. Small group and knowledgeable guide who could work around the masses of people to insure an interesting and focused tour, Even rug deal was interesting. Price was super.
Great guide, everything went as planned. Transportation excellent. Time managed well. Would book again with your company. Told many shipmates about it.
This was an awesome tour! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke good English. I got sick about half way through and the guide called a friend to take me back to the ship (at no charge). The part that I saw was amazing.
Been there before but needed to re-experience as Ephesus is such an outstanding place..Again small group compared to the big groups on ship tours. The site speaks for itself as it is a must-great informative guide who gave us great info and steered us through the masses.Recommend also the itinerary with House of Virgin and the old monastrey on hill.Excellent lunch nearby but had to pay for water. We finished with mandatory visit to carpet place which was a school for locals to learn skills. One of instructors gave presentation. He was an Australian Turk from Warrilla NSW-low key with free drinks Dropped off later in Kusadasi for shopping.Do this tour-you will not be disappointed!
