Nice tour. The pick-up near the Kyoto Train Station worked out great. Lunch was good. Thanks.

Everything went like clockwork. The tour was on time and very helpful to get us to another site when the tour was over.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Learnt so much about Japanese history and history on the architecture of the temples and shrines. Our guide was fantastic, very humorous and knowledgeable. The shopping at the handicraft centre was worth it and we got most of our shopping done there. Lunch was ample and we had plenty of time at all of the stops. Great tour and is a must!

The Golden Pavilion shone in the sun and with the lake in the foreground to give a reflection in the water -- it was a photographer's delight. Our guide told us of the purpose of each room in the Niji Castle which gave meaning to what we were seeing. Of course the the 1,000 images at Sanjusangendo was impressive. The serenity of the Kiyomizu Temple and its surrounding gardens made me feel I could stay there forever it was the most beautiful place.

I really loved the tour! I only had one day in Kyoto so I chose to do a tour, and it was the best idea. We saw all of the best sights in Kyoto, and we spent just the right amount of time at each one. Lunch was also excellent. I had a really great time. This is the perfect tour if you don't have much time to see Kyoto properly!

This is a very good trip, it covers most of the key attractions. Timing allocated for each attraction is just nice for us whose interest is not on shopping. It's just enough to see and take photos of the attractions, which suited us perfectly.

A great tour for those with limited time. Get to the front of the group though as guide starts talking with out waiting for all to be off the bus!

Very knowledgeable and frank guide provided as much information as one prepared to absorb showing several major cultural sites both in the morning and in the afternoon and pointing out other places of interest while enroute. Exceptionally tolerant of North Americans who have not learned how to be on time!

Quite an exhaustive tour of the old capital, if a little rushed. Rather little free time was available for souvenir shopping at each site. We were lucky as our guide was very informative, and very fluent in English. One or perhaps some of the other guides' English was almost completely incomprehensible, as far as I heard on the bus transferring us to the drop-off points. All in all, a wonderful experience.
