It was nice doing it as you can see many things all in a day. All was well organized.

The tour guides were interesting and greatly enhanced the overall experience. To a westerner, with limited knowledge of the major religions, it was helpful to have their insight. Overall, the tour was well organized and very professional.

Excellent choice of sites. Tour guides spoke excellent English, but one was very hard to hear over the sound of the cicadas in the intense August heat. Also, you have to wait in line in the direct sun for quite awhile to see the Imperial Palace, which was not that exciting. I would skip that and go on a day when it is not included. Also, we had an elderly member in our party who found the whole day too long. She elected to take a cab back and not take the afternoon portion. Doing it on two different days would have been better for us.

This was a nice comprehensive tour. The time spent at each site was just right and the variety of sites was great.

This trip was very well organized. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. My only concern is that the cost seemed rather expensive, and for those of us in the more distant hotel pick up spots, the travel time in the bus was rather long. Lunch was excellent, and was a nice addition to this day trip.

It was great to have an informative guide with a great sense of humour. It makes a difference viewing temples and shrines when you know a bit about their history and purpose. However, it was a weekend and the castle wasn't open - this should have been specified at time of booking because it was quite disappointing!!

We loved the tour, although a bit more individual exploration time would have been nice.

Great tour, places chosen were worth seeing, although I had already seen Kiyomizu Temple the night before without knowing it...but nice to see it during the day.

Overall, a good experience--on time, well organised, good explanations. Time devoted to each site was maybe a bit short considering what is to be seen.

Excellent overview of Kyoto that allowed us to go back and re-explore the next two days. Rushed at each stop but necessarily so.

This is a great way to get around to different sights that are too far apart to walk to. My only criticism would be that some of the stops were a bit short; I needed more time to walk around without the guide, but then there wouldn't have been time to get to everything, so I guess that's the trade-off.

This was a great way to see the special sights of Kyoto in a limited time. I had no worrying about how to get around and no waiting in queues. The guides were great, with personalised commentary. The tour was an excellent value for money. I will recommend this to anyone.

Excellent way to see some of the most important sites in Kyoto. Excellent selection of sites. Lunch was good. But could only understand about half of what the tour guide said, especially the one in the morning, due to the accent.

They will take you to the most important temples in Kyoto. If you stay in Kyoto for less than two days there is no better way to see all this temples than this tour. But prepare yourself for a very long and really working day.
