I enjoyed the trip very much. My only criticism is that I would have liked there to be more opportunities to ask questions.

The temples and shrines were so ornate and beautiful and the guide was very good and infomative. I learned a lot about Buddhism and Japan. It was a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time.

We had 2 different guides for morning and afternoon tour - both excellent knowledge and good sense of humour. Full day perhaps a little too much, 6 temples and shrines to see one after the other is a lot! However, the visits are short and sharp and we were still listening to her stories at 5pm as our guide was so interesting.

It is a wonderful tour that packs a punch for the tourist in need of time. Just be aware that you will be pushed all the time as the schedule is really tight. What we did not know was that the tour is actually a combination of a 12 Day Morning Tour and 12 Day afternoon tour with Lunch. I had no issues with that. Yoshi was the tour guide and he was absolutely Brilliant. On the way back he gave us a peek in to the Japanese Psyche and also a quick lesson in Japanese Scrip. Wonderful Wonderful guy.. If you get him as your Tour guide, you have spent your money well. Parents with Kids - not all locations are Pram Friendly.

Great tour and we wouldn't have been able to see half of the sites without it. Also, guides were really informative and helpful.

Really nice day, great introduction to the sights of Kyoto, and the guides were informative and friendly. The lunch at the handicraft centre was also prettyy good, but there was way too much time allocated to shopping in there. I would highly recommend if you have limited time in Kyoto or Japan and really want to get a good taste for some of old Japan.

This tour delivered everything promised. I was picked up on time by a very friendly and informative guide who worked hard to insure that we visited key attractions of Kyoto with efficient use of time, while still providing enough time at each site for meaningful experiences. She was very knowledgeable about both the sites visited and other information about Kyoto. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time and would like to get the most from that limited time. In my case, the tour also served as an excellent first-day introduction to Kyoto that allowed me to make good use of the next day on my own in the city.

Very interesting trip. I saw a lot in a short amount of time, much more than I would have been able to see on my own. Kyoto has some of the most beautiful scenery. The break for lunch was too long though.

Tour is a bit pricey. However, if you are in Kansai for a short trip, would recommend this, as its impossible to travel so many places on your own. We did not follow the grp back to hotel as we decided to walk from Kiyomizu temple to Gion area. Very walkable. In addition, if you need to catch the bus back to the hotel, you will find that you do not have enough time at Kiyomuzu temple. There is a street of snacks and gift s you can buy. Stopped over for a bowl of kyoto udon as well!.. nice

An ideal tour for those on tight time frames. A lot is seen here. However remember that at times you are rushed, so its a good overall visit to the sites. For in depth visits you need to revisit. All tours have a restricted time frame. I think that our guide was just a little too quick at times and his identifying thingy could be brighter or more visible. Also I recommend guides to wear a wireless microphone so it is easier to hear what is being said.

Tour was very well conducted. Ran on time. Only missing information was that our full day tour was actually conducted as two half-day tours by the local company. This information was not given before hand, or maybe I missed it on the web. In any case, it was an excellent experience, nice buses and good conductors. Food was provided.
