Enjoyable day. Nice selection of destinations and a first-rate guide. And if you don't see any other temples in Japan, be sure to see Todaiji.

This was great. The tour showed a lot in one day and although a little too fast it was still a great experience. It was also beneficial that you didn't have to do it all yourself. Lunch was great. Thanks for a memorable experience.

What an excellent tour! It was very well organized. Our English speaking guide was awesome. If you are up to date with the history of Kyoto, then the tour will make so much more sense.

Great choice of the places and very convenient way to explore two cities in one day.

Shame we could not visit the castle that was advertised on the itinerary. Otherwise, I very much enjoyed the tour and I would highly recommend it to visitors who only have a limited time in Kyoto.

My husband and I had only one day to see what we could of Kyoto and Nara. The tour was wonderful. We really enjoyed feeding the deer in Nara as well. The trip was well worth the time and expense.

Great tour to get an overview of parts of Kyoto. Definitely need to go back and take a closer look at some places as average time spent at the sights was about 50 minutes. Tour guides brilliant and very informative. A good but tiring day, would recommend to others.

The Kyoto portion of the tour hit all the spots that I wanted to see but the conductor had a very soft voice and it didn't help that she would rush from point to point and begin speaking before she had even arrived at the next point often with her back to us making it near impossible to hear her at times. What I did hear was interesting and informative. The Nara portion was very enjoyable. Our second conductor did a very good job of timing her narrations to avoid being over shouted by conductors wielding large megaphones. Everyone on the tour was happy when we left two selfish girls behind at one of the stops. If they grumble to you, I would like to make it very clear that we all waited 15 minutes for them during which time the guide and driver went out looking for them. Our group of 4 and everyone seated around us were totally in support of leaving these girls behind. We were parked in the same spot with a direct view of foot traffic coming out from Todaiji. They never came out. If we had to wait any longer, that would have left a very bad taste in my mouth. Sometimes you have to act for the greater good.
