We loved the beauty of the lake tour, and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time. We were happy it did not rain!

A great tour. Went to small villages and along roads that I did not have on my map, so saw lots you would not normally see. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable on geography but did not really seam very interested in Beatrix Potter except for going to Hilltop Farm. Still a great trip, but you may be a little disappointed if wanting more Beatrix Potter and Miss Potter film locations pointed out to you. The company changed the day of our trip with out any hassles and picked us up and dropped us off at our B and B.

The perfect tour for the Lake District. Slow paced and interesting, I give this one VERY high marks!

Very nice tour taking you to most of Beatrix's sites, but unfortunately you have to pay extra for a lot of things--her house, the gallery--and do them in your own time.

Our tour was impacted by the terrible rain we had so a lot of the tour was somewhat washed out, even though they did cover everything they promised, it was quite disappointing for a few reasons. The tour director we had did not have a working microphone so if you were not sitting up front with him you could not hear the limited commentary he did supply. We took a boat cruise on lake Coniston, it was so foggy and raining, you could not see anything. In good weather this would have been a very good tour and while the weather was terrible the tour guide did not contribute much to this day. I do think they are a good company because they did cover all of the lakes thoroughly but certainly the guides need a louder microphone and when the weather is not conducive they should offer a different day or a money back offer.
