We were concerned that the dinner cruise would be cancelled because of the 30mph winds. However, the ship was very stable, the food was very good, and the band played all the right tunes. A great time, worth the money.
Was worth every penny. Starting with our shuttle driver...knowledgable and entertaining! The food was good the scenic views priceless .Band fair. Only complaint was not told to stop at ticket booth to turn ininternet ticket into a boarding ticket.Walked down pier to boat then had to go back.
The cruise was great, long lines at the bar as expected, did not like the chicken dinner, my wife says the tortellini was really good and a guest at the same table gave a good complement about the steak he had. The dinner cruise is a little late in the evening for great sight seeing. Take a coat!
Beautiful Night/ beautiful sunset. Buffet food was acceptable, not great. Waitresses and captain and musician were great!! Would recommend this trip. Ste/Don July 2013
The dinner cruise was very nice. We sat with two other nice couples. The food was good and about the correct amount. The scenery was terrific, and the captain and crew maximized the opportunities when possible to see the significant sites (e.g. Emerald Bay). The only things to negatively comment on are: my drink order (a glass of wine) took a long time to receive. Everyone else got their orders about 5 or more minutes before I did. Also, there was a wedding party which capitalized on the dance floor area. We felt uncomfortable joining in their group.
All in all, a great trip on the lake. I am from the Bay Area and have been up to Tahoe for more times than I can remember, but this was my first ride on a boat. There was a glitch when I made my reservations online. The ticket voucher said the boat was departing at 6:30. I went to the departure pt. early morning to ck. out the parking situation and to get more information. I was informed by the parking attendant that the correct departure time was 6:00. Had I relied solely on my confirmation and voucher forms, we would have watched the boat departing from the shore. Other than that, the boat ride is one of the things you have to do in your lifetime.
The time of the year was perfect (august). The greeting, food, service, view, and music were great!! I'm glad we had dinner first, then went atop for the magnificient view. Emerald Bay was spectacular and the sunset was unforgetable. Will definitely recommend. SUGGESTION: raise the speakers that are pointed down so the guide tour's voice can be heard better by guests AND tone down volumn of band on upstairs deck... was too loud for conversation :))) THANKS for a wonderful memory!
It was absolutely wonderful. The food was great and the tour was exactly what my wife and I wanted. What a lovely way to spend an evening celebrating our anniversary.
We had a great time. Music, tour were fantastic. Dinner was very good, but not great.
Great experience with friendly staff. Might be a little pricey for the amount we paid.
The cruise itself was very nice. I loved seeing the beautiful Emerald Bay. The dinner service was lacking. It took 45 minutes to finally get someone to open my bottle of wine and bring me glasses. The other tables were already being served their appetizer and salad before I even had a drink. Another man at my table ordered a beer which took nearly an hour to get. The dinner service was the only thing that I did not enjoy. The rest of the experience was awesome.
We had a lot of fun with my families. I like the dancing and the food is delicious especially the dessert. Awesome. I will try to do it again.
