What You Can Expect

3-Day National Parks Camping Tour: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon from Las Vegas

Bryce Canyon

Discover the stark beauty and incredible geology of the American Southwest during this 3-day, 2-night excursion to some of the region’s most beautiful natural sights and parks. Anyone looking to spend some time away from the neon lights of Las Vegas will enjoy this trip in the great outdoors, including an optional chance to camp under the stars.

Depart from Las Vegas on day one, heading to Zion National Park by minibus. Spend your time in Zion at your leisure, enjoying a range of hikes suitable for all fitness levels, such as the Emerald Pools Trail or Great White Throne. In the afternoon, continue on to Bryce Canyon, a park famous for its “hoodoo” rock formations, and enjoy a barbecue dinner before spending the night at the campground or lodging option of your choice.

Start day two with an optional chance to explore Antelope Canyon (at your own expense) before continuing to Monument Valley. A member of the Navajo tribe that populates the area will take you on a Jeep tour to explore this iconic area. Finish the day at your campsite or lodging. On day three you’ll head to the world-famous Grand Canyon, choosing to enjoy a hike, take a break at the rim-side café or upgrade for an incredible helicopter ride above the canyon’s South Rim. Head back to Las Vegas in the evening.

A full rundown of each day’s itinerary is outlined below.

Day 1: Las Vegas – Zion National Park & Bryce Canyon (L)
After departing Las Vegas, travel by air-conditioned minibus to Zion National Park, a dazzling mix of white, pink and red Navajo sandstone cliffs that make for a photographer’s paradise. Experience the beauty of Zion Canyon however you’d like during free time in the park. Go on a walk or hike, available for every fitness level. Stroll along the Emerald Pools trail, discover the Temple of Sinawava, the Great White Throne or Weeping Rock, or visit the interpretive Human History Museum where you can enjoy an entertaining ranger’s talk on the patio.

After a full afternoon in Zion you'll head to Bryce Canyon, a natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce Canyon is famous for its hoodoos, or dramatic red spires. Take a walk down into the hoodoos for an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy a barbecue dinner (own expense) and a fun evening with new friends.

Overnight: KOA Cannonville or Ruby's campground Utah;
Bryce Valley Inn if lodging option is selected

Day 2: Bryce Canyon – Monument Valley (B, L)
Wake up to a beautiful Southwest morning and enjoy the drive to Lake Powell for an optional visit to Antelope Canyon (own expense) before traveling to one of the most recognizable locations on the planet: Monument Valley, home to the Navajo Nation. A Navajo member will take you on a guided Jeep tour of the valley before you spend the night at your campsite gazing up at the amazing starry sky, which come morning will be transformed by the magnificent sunrise.

Overnight: Goulding's Campground in Monument Valley or Monument Valley houses/apartments with private bathrooms

Day 3: Monument Valley – Grand Canyon National Park – Las Vegas (B*, L)
If camping option was selected, a light breakfast is included; if you stayed overnight at the lodge, breakfast may be purchased at the hotel's cafe.

Save the best for last on Day 3! After a brief visit to a traditional Navajo trading post, follow the Colorado River through the Painted Desert to Grand Canyon National Park. Again, see the park as you’d like. Walk along the South Rim, hike deep into the canyon, relax at a rim-side cafe or take in bird’s-eye views on an optional helicopter ride (own expense).

Then head back to Las Vegas, where your 3-day adventure concludes in the late evening.

Absolutely fabulous trip. I thought Zion was amazing, then Bryce was even better, but I think Antelope Canyon was my favourite. The camping spot at Monument Valley was spectacular and it was great walking into the Grand Canyon. Marie was a wonderful informative organised guide. Highly recommended trip!!!

At first, probably this is my first time writing a review.
I really wanted to go to national park for few years but I dont drive so finally ended it up to join this tour. I wasnt expect so much because its only 2nights and 3days and I thought its bit short and pricy but I dont have a much choice so just joined it. And OMG.. I would say, this tour change my whole life experience! It was just most amazing scenery every single time! Our guide Marie was super chill and knowledgable and of course professional!! She managed our time line perfect also tried to help each persons preference. Tent equipment were really easy to set up and the camping stop was nice too. Ive been backpacking long time but it was most amazing one. I highly recommend to everyone. Its good price and really worthy to try. You wont miss anything. Thanks so much for this awesome journey. Never forgettable!

This trip was an awesome experience and a great glimpse into several amazing NPs out west. My favorite part was our campsite being the only ones overlooking Monument Valley The Mittens and waking up on 4th of July morning to an epic sunrise from the doorway of my tent over the Mittens! Antelope Canyon is an optional portion of this trip but well worth the extra 20 USD or so. Google Antelope Canyon and you will know what i mean!

This trip is great for all ages... on our trip it was mainly young adults but we also had a family of four with us too. We all started as individuals...but by the end of the trip everyone was taking group photos together! I personally went on this trip by myself and think this is a great opportunity for all those who really are wanderlust but not sure what NPs are calling them. Now that I know my favorite spots... I can't wait to plan out a long trip to Monument Valley and Bryce. I liked the Grand Canyon too but the crowd on a holiday weekend is a bit overwhelming.

We also had an awesome tour guide named Vern. He was super knowledgeable in each stop's history, fun and adventurous, and overall a great guide!

Excellent tour and guide!

This tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide Marie was beyond amazing and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, our group was chased by rain and storms throughout the trip which slightly affected the camping on one night, but Bindlestiff and Marie did everything they could to find an alternative. The small group was great as it felt more like friends going on a short roadtrip. This tour is very fast paced so if you're looking for something a little slower, this might not be for you. But in saying that, these three days were the highlight of my four week trip. Make sure you get up early to watch the sunrise in Monument Valley because I've never seen anything so incredible. And be sure to do the optional tour of Antelope Canyon!
