Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the 3-Day National Parks Tour from Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
I would highly recommend this tour. There's quite a bit packed into the three days - but it's so worth it. Our group was 11 guests in total, and Emanual our tour guide was awesome. Super knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The motels were basic, but safe and clean. Eddie our driver was great at his job and a pleasure to be around. All in all this was so much more relaxing than driving ourselves - plus I don't think that we would have seen nearly as much on our own.
Good trip ! Give the chance to see a lot in only 3 days. Beautiful spots! Nice hotels.
Of course every stop is short, but that's the only way to see so much. Want to come back for more hiking there.
Loved it!! It was a small group, only 7 of us plus 2 guides. 1 was an Italian translator for a couple. The car was great, the guides very knowledgable and very nice and friendly. The places we visited were excellent and so were the hotels and restaurants. Totally exceeded my expectations!! Thanks!
Good value tour with great scenery at all the places we visited. We would never have covered so much ground driving ourselves as days 1 and 2 ARE very long. After such a long first day (nearly 14 hours!) we would have paid a little more for the package to have better accommodation in Page as this first motel is very basic. Our one real gripe was that our guide seemed to be based in Los Angeles and had to be back in L.A on the third night, a 4-hour drive from Las Vegas. This meant returning us to Vegas by 3.30 -4pm. So although the itinerary indicated that we would have time at Zion to explore by ourselves, we only really had a couple of hours and were shepherded along the riverside walk with the guide. This was a pity as I feel we missed out a little as there were many other short trails we could have explored given a couple more hours. Perhaps Viator should look into using a Las Vegas-based company.
Great places but the male tour gide was completely not interested in his job and had very little knowledge. In Zion he told us that there is no point in going to the wheeping rock as it is dry and no water. Guess what? We went anyway and it was amazing with water cascading from it. All along he spend most of his time talking only to one Israeli couple and almost ignored my Family as well as another Australian couple from Brisbane. Fortunately the second tour gide assigned to look after all the Italian couples (her name was Carla) was really good, energetic and made the tour fun for us all. Thank you Carla
i tried this tour 16. august. 2013.
my team member 19 people. 16 people from Italy, 2 people from Israel, 1people from south korea.
and guide from Italy and Israel.
if I know this team.........I seriously consider
The "head" tour guide was the worst I had ever encountered on a tour. He would be fired if I had a say. He should not have had the job. We ate in a gas station - not good and the first motel was pretty bad. There was a total lack of organization. I've never been on a tour that ran people 13-14 hours per day.
