The driver who picked us up at our resort was prompt and courteous. At the site, the skills for handling the 4-wheelers were explained very well by the ride leader. After a few short and slow-paced runs, the group soon adapted to a quicker and more fun pace. In short, it was a blast.

My partner and I had a wonderful time, although it would have been nice to be riding with people who had some ATV riding experience. My partner was acting as a second guide because the woman behind him had never ridden before. The group had to stop many times to wait for them to catch up. She did improve as the ride went on, but it would have been nice to keep the group all together more.

You actually don't ride in the Valley of the Fire, but it is a lot of fun!

This trip was really fun, and we had a blast. That being said, you don't really spend any time in Valley of Fire, you just drive through it on your way to their private ATV Park. Once we arrived, we rode for over 2 hours on desert trials, up hills, s-curves, and some challenging terrain for the less experienced. There were 21 people signed up for the trip, so we broke into two groups. Our guide was excellent. Very concerned with safety and that everyone kept up. He was constantly looking back to make sure he could see all of us.
If you enjoy ATVs I would definitely recommend this excursion. Not a lot of beautiful scenery, but it was a blast. If you want beautiful views, try the Eldorado Goldmine trip.
Very challenging for first timers, and the free shirts suck. But I did have a blast riding, and the food was good.

It was fun and they look after your safety. Excellent for beginners, maybe not that great for experienced riders though.

Late hotel pickup, shorter ATV tour. Look elsewhere for ATV tours.

Overall a decent trip, but with a few issues. Vegetarian lunch was forgotten and no compensation or apology offered. Also, because the whole group knew how to ride, we went faster and finished the 'course' early. Instead of giving us the full time we paid for, the whole tour ended early - disappointing.

It was definitely NOT for people without experience - I was thrown off the ATV and bruised everywhere. My husband was not allowed to drive because he was 'too slow'. Had they followed their own rules and given us a little bit of guidance and split us up according to experience perhaps it would have been better.
