This was a fun experience, especially for big fans of the show. It could have been a little more challenging, but it was something different to do other than the usually touristy things.
Unfortunately, the experience was dampened (only slightly) by a lady at the end not providing proper directions for receiving our certificates. The computers were not equiped or set up to print the certificates there, but there was a link at the end of the results to do so, after following the prompt, I was rudely told that I wasn't to do that and that I had ruined another computer which had to then be turned off again. But this was only a minor mishap in an otherwise enjoyable day.
This was fantastic there were 3 in our party so we each did a different crime scene. We all had a ball being investigators and tring to solve who did the crime. Would recommend to others visiting Las Vegas as is good value for money.
This was a visit I was really looking forward to, as I am such a fan of CSI, and we were not disappointed. There were three cases to choose from, and we had access to all the forensics you would see on TV. The special effects in the autopsy room were fantastic, and we were successful in solving our case. We had our diploma sent via email that same day and the only small blip was there was a quiery about free t shirts we should have recieved if you successfully completed your task, but we got that sorted in the end. Brilliant experience
I was really tired after walking the "Strip" when I went to do this and thought I wouldn't enjoy it. It was really good. My 3 daughters loved it too, 1 of whom after watching CSI from when she was about 9 decided that was what she wanted to do. She is in her 3rd year in Uni doing Chemistry and although she doesn't want to do forensics, we've got the show to thank for that. A nice touch was the email from Grisham telling us we'd passed the course.
I had a great time at the CSI Exhibit. It's a lot more educational and free form than I expected. I went with a couple of friends and wasn't quite sure what to expect. There are three different cases you can choose to investigate. We all settled on one (the dead waitress in the alley) but since the only thing that links you to the scenario you pick is a crime scene investigation sheet they give you there's no reason you can't experience all three. The "crime scenes" are really cool and well detailed. I'm not a fan of the show, but the getting a good look at the actual forensics that goes into solving a crime is pretty keen. I'd recommend it for families with picky tweens since it's totally at your own pace, educational (but in not in a lame way), and definitely different than anything else you're going find.
This was a great way to spend an evening! We all ended up chatting about the murder all the way home. I went with friends, and really enjoyed looking through the exhibits and cracking the case. My advice though: if you're with a big enough group, have everyone take a different crime! The "lab" is one big room, so you can work on your different crimes together.
It was great. If you watch the show you will have a blast. Great hands on experience. Fun for all ages
This is great place to take kids, or science buff - they will have so much fun. Loved all the different stations you need to go to get your information. We had a really nice time!
