Fabulous tour with a wonderful guide. See old gold mines and get to hear some of the history of the area. Culminates at an authentic olde time saloon in a former ghost town where you have ample time for a drink or two before being whisked back to 'Vegas in your air conditioned Hummer.

Kids loved it and so did I! Well worth it! Our guide was GREAT! Friendly, informative and just as excited to show us everything as we were to learn and see.
Enjoyed the tour. Guide/driver was friendly and knowledgeable. However when I tried to confirm the booking beforehand, the tour firm said they hadn't had any notification from Viator. We were able to go another day though.
This was a very good tour. There was just our family and tour guide, and he basically said he would take us exactly where we wanted to go. He was very informative and interesting.
To be in a small group out alone in the desert - the silence and desolation was awesome. The mineral deposits around the mines were really interesting - and we had a great guide. Only took half a day so easily fits around sunbathing casinos.
It was very safe - hardly an adventure. Maybe because it was carried out in a new H2 Hummer rather than the military spec H1. OK though.
Being thrown about in the hummer added to the experience and that was ok but the trip was labeled as Desert Safari and there was definitely no animals to be seen. The scenery though was amazing almost looked like the set from a movie! Driver was good and very knowledgeable.
