Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour with West Rim Picnic. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
The whole tour went off without a hitch. Received call for company the day before to confirm the pick up time and they arrived 5 minutes early offering drinks and Internet access along the way. The helecopter pilot was knowledgable and personable. He gave information along the way and was a nice person. No complaints other than the baked refreshments could have been a little fresher.
Serenity are the best company ever! Total luxury from start to finish - a professional yet friendly company who exude a family feeling! Mike our pilot was amazing! I cried as we came over the canyon..... amazing!!
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. It was our wedding day and the team looked after us so well. From pick-up to drop-off the whole tour went without a hitch.
Things to note were that my wife was feeling really nervous, but the team put her at ease and even gave her a tablet for nausea and a cup of tea which helped calm her nerves. They sat us up front alongside Mike, who was just the best pilot. A really nice man, who just took it easy, pointed out all the sights and made the flight incredibly relaxing whilst exhilirating. Serenity have the best highest landing spot of all the helicopter tour operators and we were able to relax and take our time with the picnic once on the ground. Unbeatable in my opinion.
Amazing experience! Friendly pilot. Next time, we'll take a helicopter flying lesson :-
I warmly recommend.
This tour was amazing. The staff was excellent from start to finish and the view....breath taking. Loved it all.
The entire staff was awesome, from the van driver to the pilot. The views are breathtaking, and the commentary is very informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It's absolutely amazing!
Perfect tour for us. Landed for 30 minutes . Wished we could stay longer at the canyon. Definitely would recommend to others. The flight was very pleasant and smooth. Our 20 months old baby fell asleep on the way there the noise didn't bother her. Amazing scenery amazing trip!
Absoloutely awesome the staff were terrific and the experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone - well done serenity!!! xxxx
Its been my second trip to the Grand Canyon. The first one was with another company out of Las Vegas. I found this trip to be much better. First, the pickup was on time, while the first company made me wait an extra 15 minutes (they were late). Second, the landing site was better, the vantage point was to capture better pictures, way better. Third, the pictures and video of the entire trip was offered. I did not get the option at my first trip.
I am not a helicopter expert, but my impression was that the helicopter model was little older than on my first trip. Older helicopter made no difference as long as I enjoy the view out of it and I did.
I would definitely recommend the Viator to everyone. You will an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
Serenity Helicopters were amazing. Top notch, first class all the way.
This tour was amazing. Serenity Helicopter group were the best.
Wonderful experience! Corey our pilot made the trip enjoyable with his humour and knowledge. The picnic in the Canyon was the highlight of our whole trip to America. All the staff were welcoming and professional and we would love to repeat the trip sometime in the future, many thanks. Nuala, Belfast
An Absoluely "Shamazing" experience. Thankyou to all the staff at Serenity for a memorable time.
My mum was initially terrified of getting into the helicopter, but Jim (our fabulous Pilot) soon made her feel at ease. Jim really made it a very special experience.
Big thankyou to Stuart (our driver). He gave us some useful tips on where to go in Vegas.
and last but certainly not least, Ted who was so lovely and helpful.
I will certainly recommend you to all my friends and who knows I may be back next year!!

This tour was seriously amazing! Definitely spend the extra to do a helicopter tour over a bus/train, the views from above a well worth it. This particular company has great reviews on trip advisor, their transport, facilities and inclusions are modern and of a high standard.
The staff at Serenity are very professional and courteous. Jim, our pilot, was very entertaining and we felt safe in his flying ability as it was our first time in a helicopter. We saw the Grand Canyon at the north rim a few days prior, but after doing the helicopter experience we felt this was the best way of experiencing the Grand Canyon due to its size and perspective. We would highly recommend Serenity and a visit to the Grand Canyon by helicopter for the best value of your time and dollar.
We booked from Australia so didn't really know who to book with.
From the time we were picked up from our hotel to the time we were dropped back, the whole experience with Serenity Helicopters was amazing.
I would highly recommend Serenity Helicopters to anyone.
The trip as a birthday present for my wife was excellent, very well organized, great views on the trip, well worth the money our pilot was excellent.
Never been on a helicopter so a bit apprehensive but nothing to worry about was a brilliant experience glad we did it
Fantastic trip. Best way to see the Grand Canyon without a doubt. Champagne and a picnic inside the West Rim was the icing on the cake . 4 hours from start to finish was by far the best option rather than 12 hours on a coach. Jim, our pilot was very amusing and informative. Would defo recommend...
The trip was wonderful and I would recommend it. However, the picnic was rushed and we could have used a little more time to finish our food.
Overall, an excellent trip. The staff was friendly throughout. The pilot was cheeky in a fun a way. Seeing the Grand Canyon from the air was priceless. Only a few disappointments though: not enough time in the canyon and the $50 video of the tour wasn't very good; it was too grainy and the camera angles were bad. To be fair, though, we were traveling in the morning, so the sun was still in the east.
