It was a very long day but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Be prepared for a long day. Approximately 540 mile round trip by coach. Early start with most collections around 6am from the Strip hotels. Don't forget there will be a fuel surcharge that can be paid in cash or card on the morning to local agent. The views are fantastic and the information provided by the driver great. Don't forget the camera and spare batteries.

The only downside was the National Park bathrooms. The restroom for the women had no toilet seat covers, which really help when you are on a scheduled with a tour and there is a long line.

It was good overall. Enjoyed the trip. Wanted to get down at a nearby hotel in Vegas to watch some show but the driver didn't allow us. He was adamant to leave us at the same pickup place though the place we needed was on the way. Apart from that everything was fine.

It was a really awesome trip. The driver had tremendous knowledge about Las Vegas as well as the Grand Canyon, and his anecdotes kept us awake throughout the duration of the trip. I would recommend this trip.

It was overall a good trip, definitely worth the money. The drive to and from the Grand Canyon was not too boring, with several breaks on the way, a stop at the Hoover Dam, and great sights along the road. The canyon itself was beautiful, and the tour company lets you walk around the rim for a few hours before departure. The tour guide was very pleasant and informative. If you intend to stay in Las Vegas for a while, you should definitely take this tour.

The trip was amazing. It's worth doing if you're looking for a day trip that is inexpensive once you calculate the cost of gas, a car rental, food, and park fees.

This was a good trip, and the canyon was spectacular. The bus was nice and clean. All stops were as advertised. The only problem we had is that my husband and I were traveling with our two young sons, and none of us could sit together on the trip - we had four separate seats. The trip would have been much more enjoyable if we could sit together. Those people traveling as singles should have been made to sit together so that people traveling together could sit together.

My main gripe is that this tour should have a multi-lingual guide.

The bus company was not very organised in the morning. We were picked up at 6 a.m. at our hotel, but we spent two hours at the vitamin factory, where the staff provided cheap coffee, juice and pastry. The loading of the buses took 1.5 hours! We finally left Las Vegas at 8 a.m. The driver was very informative and nice. The worst thing was that the helicopter company had not received our booking from Viator, so that was fun sorting out! In the end, we got a later helicopter flight but missed out on the Bright Angel Lodge viewing as a result. The day lasted 16 hours! We could really do without the two hours being wasted in the morning. The Grand Canyon helicopter flight was amazing though! We would recommend it.

The trip to Grand Canyon was good but we had some problems -- we were the first to be picked up at 5:40am and the last to be dropped off at 11:40pm, because only one bus returned all the people to its hotel. In addition, we arrived late to the film IMAX, and we had to wait one hour from the next.
Reviewed by: Anonymous, United States, July 2007 Note from Viator: We apologize for the delayed return to your hotel. We have followed up with the supplier and confirmed that the lack of buses for the return trip will be addressed by the time you read this. Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us to ensure that all of our suppliers are providing you with the best possible experience at the Grand Canyon.
It was a very rushed trip. Breakfast was very simple, a cream bun and a packet of juice. We had to gobble down the breakfast and rush for the bus. This, according to the bus driver, was because the trip to South Rim is an extremely long one. We started off from our hotel at 6:15am and returned after 10:30pm. Long journey with majority of the time spent on travelling. Very tiring. With the IMAX, there wasn't much time for us to do the optionals like helicopter ride either. Quite disappointed. Would have opted for the shorter West Rim experience had we known that the South Rim bus tour is such a tiring one.

I did not like the that I was not picked up or dropped off from my hotel. I had to go to a different hotel that I was not staying at. That was so inconvenient. Also, I didn't like that we had to change from one bus to the another bus. What was the purpose if we were all going to the Grand Canyon? I thought that by having my voucher I was ready to go. We wasted almost 2 hours waiting for everyone to be divided onto different buses. Also, we were not returned to Las Vegas by 9pm as promised. It was almost midnight.
Reviewed by: Beatriz R, United States, June 2007 Note from Viator: The idea behind central meeting points is to reduce the time spent on passenger collections that can take a long while, especially with the Las Vegas strip traffic. Unfortunately it did not seem to help in this case and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
