A bit long, but worth your time if you are visiting Vegas for a couple of days and want to see something wonderful.
excellent tour....this is the best value for money way to visit the Grand Canyon.
Absolutely wonderful except Too much preaching about the downfalls on gambling which most adults understand. We were a captive audience with that message on the tv screen playing over and over.
This tour was simply incredible! Richard (our coach driver/guide) was hilarious, we didn't have a single bad moment on this tour. The bus was comfy and Richard played movies which made the long trip in the bus better. We had a brief stop at Hoover dam, which was more beautiful than expected.
We were picked up early and taken to the Gray Line loading area. We opted for the VIP tour once we got there and we have zero regrets. It was a little bit more but it included all day water, breakfast and lunch. The meals were nothing too exciting but what was good is that our tour was only 10 people. We were in a nice vehicle with comfy seats and cupholders and window shades, if needed.
We made a quick stop in Kingman to stretch our legs and then to the Grand Canyon. It is a long drive - about 4-5 hours each way so we had only 2 hours at the Canyon. 40 minutes and three points. We made the most of it and took a ton of pictures. Our driver, Enoch, was great. He was a good steady driver and would point things out when needed. There was a presentation of the history of the Canyon and we watched 3 movies, albeit not good ones so bring a book as a second choice.
We also stopped at the Hoover Dam for a few minutes and were able to walk on the bridge and take pictures but, as with the rest, it was a very quick and timed visit. It has to be when you are on such a long journey. All in all, well worth the day out. It made me want to go back to the Grand Canyon for a longer stay!
Tour was great. Well organized, comfortable and timely. If you can though, do the canyon on your own. You can make your own itinerary, spend more time at the lookout points, and go for a longer hikes. If you do want to stick to a tour, and stick to a one day trip, this one is great!
Great trip I loved every minute of it and would highly recommend this to anyone. My only negative thing to say is about the driver Ken that he constantly threaten to leave the group if they were not back on time at every stop which made it feel more like a school trip than vacation. We had a rather large diverse crowd and he constantly made crude and rude jokes and even lied about us not being able to charge our phone on the bus when asked he stated the bus had to be going at a 1000rpm ridiculous. I would definitely reiterate to the bus company about the importance of professionalism to its drivers and that we are the customers that keep them in business. Other than that the Grand Canyon is a must see when visiting Las Vegas!!
I had an amazing experience with Viator and would recommend to all.
This was perhaps, the highlight of my vacation for 2016. The driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant the ride itself was comfortable. The brief viewing of the Hoover Dam has made me promise to come back and take a tour of just the Hoover Dam. But, the most awe-inspiring of the whole day was to take the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. It truly defies imagination. Anyone who says there is no God, needs to see the Grand Canyon!!
it was amazing to see it up close. our guide was very informative, funny and made the long bus ride more pleasant.
This tour was all that it promised-spent additional 50 to go on the Sprinter with a smaller group-well worth the money. Enoch was very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw three sites and each stay was long enough but not too long. I am usually too cheap to spend anything extra-but the drive from Las Vegas was just a bit too far and I am glad I went on this tour.
this is a great tour for first timers and our driver Eric was very knowledgeable about every thing on this tour and he was very entertaining.
Great trip , long ride but worth it , the driver was excellent and the bus quite comfortable
The driver bus driver was a great tour guide, it's a minimal tour but just right for the value.
Excellent driver and trip. Very long, but quality buses and drivers really helped with the long drove. Did not like the Jeep tour as it was simply driving us quickly around form one sightseeing turnoff where other cars were parked to another. So fast we couldn't look for elk or other wildlife and had we had access to any other way to get to the rim, we certainly would have done so. I-Max also made my wife sick as she has an issue with heights and with the dropping in and out of the canyon, her vertigo was upset to the point that she had problems in the jeep at the rim too.
