We enjoyed the day and the scenery was breathtaking. However, I was disappointed in the driver we had. He drove like a race car driver, and other people we met at the different stops commented on the speed of the white van and how it was passing everyone. He also didn't provide that much info about the area; basically just a little at the beginning of the trip. I usually find that when I take a small tour like this the driver/escort is very informative and keeps the group talking. This one was more interested in singing along to the music he played.

The tour to the West Rim was filled with wonder and beauty. The Skywalk was a unique way to see the canyon and step out into it.

Our guide and driver was definitely a fun one and the best in the tour business. I will recommend this tour to my friends the guide if they want to organize a personalized trip!

We did not enjoy our day; we were up so early only to sit around and wait to leave the tour office. Then we felt rushed to get on the Skywalk, which was a cash grab, and you can't take your camera out there, so you're forced to get their picture. Good food and amazing views, but this company could do better.

Tour guide was fine. Everything handled pretty well. The West Rim, though, isn't really 'ready for prime time'. The unpaved roads and bare essentials make it feel undone versus rustic.

In hindsight, it would have been better to take the flight package with this trip rather than the very lengthy and uncomfortable van tour. I had booked a Luxury SUV tour, but was put on a van. The Skywalk was good and the scenery spectacular, but the ranch was not worth the time we spent there. Once again I would recommend taking the flight rather than the van, which would give you more time to do other things.

The van was not luxury and it smelled of smoke. The tour guide did not get out with us for most of the trip, which that was disappointing.

The tour was in a minivan, not a spacious bus. The Grand Canyon was very interesting. A lot of time was spent waiting to get from one location to the next. Many transfers are needed for this tour - a van from the hotel, a second van to the Grand Canyon base, a bus to the Grand Canyon and lunch and then back, and a van again back to the hotel.

The Grand Canyon is beautiful and the Hoover Dam is amazing, but the rest of the trip was a disaster. Because of the low number of attendees, we were upgraded to a "luxury van". The van was dirty and smelled bad, and we were packed in shoulder to shoulder. There was a 14-mile stretch that was not paved and very rocky, and the driver turned the air-conditioning off because the vents were blowing in dust. The temperature was 117 degrees. The chocolate factory tour was actually a single wide trailer on the side of the road in the desert. There was no Wild West show or homemade ice cream. There were two choices for lunch. The first site only had outdoor seating, so we were taken on a school bus to the other location. When we walked into the dining hall, we discovered that the A/C was not working, and the back doors were open for ventilation. The wagon ride lasted about 10 minutes and did not go into the canyon as described. The "luxury van" overheated on the return trip, while stuck in traffic at the Hoover Dam, so the driver again turned the air-conditioner off. We were all irritable, nauseated, and heat-fatigued when we finally returned to our hotel.

This was awful! I booked a VIP van, which turned out to be an old yellow bus without air conditioning. Lunch was bad, as well.
