This was a very informative tour, guide gave us an amazing amount of information. We recommend this tour to everyone.
Well conceived and organised tour with variety of experiences, some walking, great and refreshing boat ride. Good commentary except for mentioning four times that people in Las Vegas were paid little and needed tips to earn a living. One got the hint once but after repetition it seemed he was begging for a tip.
Tour of dam great time very little could not look at exhibition or walk over dam after tour of inside of dam
Everything went according to plan. The bus driver / guide ( Spencer ) was very good and chatty and knowledgeable. I wish we were picked up from our respective hotels ( just like your guide promised us ). But we were dropped at Ballys ( AT OUR REQUEST ) by Spencer in the evening. We were a bit disappointed by this. Nevertheless the overall experience was good.
Hoover Dam tour was great, I could do without the cruise. My husband especially enjoyed seeing the history and workings of the dam. What an awesome sight!
The tour and paddle boat cruise were enjoyable. The Hoover Dam tour was rushed as there were many people visiting at this time. The only complaint we have is that we were dropped off at a different hotel than what we were picked up at because it was late and the driver felt we were close enough to walk to the hotel we were picked up at.
We had great time. The tour pickup and dropoff at the hotel great. When we arrived at the tour terminal and checked in there was a delay. We had enough time at the chocolate factory. When we got to Hoover Dam the tour driver gave us a time to return to the bus. There was not even enough time after the interior tour to walk across the dam or see the exhibits. The Lake Mead cruise was fun. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall an amazing experience and I would recommend this tour. The tour should start an hour or so earlier to allow for ample time at a Hoover dam.
Excellent tour, but how could you miss with such wonderful subject matter to display? Bus and driver were very good, but the lunch on the Lake Mead cruise could have been better, and the $5.00/person "processing fee" at the bus depot was unexpected (I had a party of four) and unwelcome. Please be upfront with all fees and include them in the initial tour price.
Good day. Hoover Dam was very interesting and Lake Mead was peaceful. Queuing to get on the boat was a bit painful but this did not spoil the trip. John our driver was very entertaining and humourous
A great day out with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic driver.

The only thing that stops me from giving this trip 5 stars, is the inept way this operator has of getting you on the actual trip you paid for. Picked up on time by large coach which was collecting tourists for 3 different trips. We were taken to a distribution point were we had to register at a cost of $5 we were then given wrist bands indicating our trip, then taken to our trip coach.[ All this took an Hour and Half ] We have been on many trips in the past with multi pick ups, the driver usually marks us off for our trip and gives us the relevant sticker or band and tells you your trip coach number or letter. for when you reach your distribution, point more efficient , no wasted time, no extra cost.
Really enjoyed this trip... although not enough dam time. Bus driver was great though, lots of laughs and very informative...
This is highly recommended. The only downside was we went on Christmas Eve which was a holiday and due to the nice weather the place was crowded and it took longer than expected to get into the Power plant, so at the end it was a little rushed. Everything else on this tour was excellent.
This tour was on a coach and was very well orgainised. We stopped at the chocolate factory on the way as our tour guide told us it would be packed on the way back, downside to this is it takes 20 minutes off your viewing time at the Hoover Dam which is more important than the chocolate factory as not much to see there. Also our guide informed us we were not allowed to take any backpacks or large handbags into the Hoover Dam, so we left ours on the coach - when we went inside we saw loads of people with backpacks and large bags. Hoover Dam great to see and the Lake Mead Cruise well worth it.
Enjoyed the tour very interesting lunch was nice money well spent would recommend it
