My sisters and I enjoyed the tour and cruise. The Hoover Dam is an amazing feat of engineering and construction. Packing a large number of visitors of various sizes into the elevator was also an amazing feat. The Lake Mead Cruise was relaxing and comfortable on the lowest deck (we tend to get motion sickness but we were fine). The female manager brought us our lunch and drinks soon after we left the dock. Great service.
Bus drivers James and Orlando were informative (some "facts" were inconsistent from each other and the tour guides; maybe they didn't think we were paying attention--hee hee, we WERE listening). They got us to our destinations safely and in good time. Thank you.

On a 1- 10 scale our trip was an 8 It started with the driver being 25 mins late to pick us up, and the lunch was not very good, the sandwich was plain and very dry. But our tour bus driver Spencer was awesome! He made the trip worth while with all the extra details, history, and his even his bad jokes added so much more to the trip. Thanks for the wonderful day!

The bus driver was great and funny, he told us a lot about Vegas and the Hoover Dam area if we ever come to Vegas again and take a tour I want James as our driver.

Great trip and would do it again. Would only suggest that they have a salad as one of the choices for lunch rather than just sandwiches.

When I read the trip description, I thought we would be seeing more of the iner-workings of Hoover Dam. Needed to spend more time there. The bus was labeled Grand Canyon West Rim Express, instead of the name of the tour operator. As a result we missed the pick-up and had to take a taxi. Suggest they post Hoover Dam sign in their front window.

Great Driver - very informative and knowledgeable. However we didn't get to see everything as we were rushed due to volume of coaches all arriving at the same time.. I would rather have had longer at the dam and not visited the chocolate factory.

Enjoyed the combination of the history of the dam, how it came to be. The cruise was a chance to relax but with some interesting facts and great photo opportunities at both locations

Average Day Trip. Although very reasonably priced, long periods of waiting just took the edge of the trip. (Hoover Dam Queue and also time back at the changeover depo. Lake Mead Cruise enjoyable, food good.

The tour company cancelled the Lake Mead cruise without explanation at extreeme short notice and offerd paltry refund. This company is NOT RECOMMENDED.
The Hoover Dam + powerhouse visit was one of our Vegas highlights - poity about the organiser!

Nice driver, but the tour itself was very hurried. The location was very crowded, so by the time I was able to secure entry, very little time was left for anything but the guided tour. Much of the dam is restricted, due to security concerns. I felt rushed throughout the trip. The boat ride on Lake Mead was very enjoyable and relaxing. A good opportunity to take photos of Hoover Dam from a different perspective. I could have done without the trip to the chocolate factory, especially as the chocolates were overpiced and it was way too hot ( 112F ) to carry them back to LV before they melted.

Having visited the Dam some years previous my husband and I were interested to see how this tour had if any changed. Unfortunately for us it was a very hot and windy day some 110 degrees and we therefore found it difficult to wander around. Also several bus tours had arrived at the same time and we were herded around like sheep, this made for large queues and long waiting times which did not leave us much time to enjoy our visit to the Dam. As regards to our trip on the lake this was very enjoyable and we finally got time to chill out. Would we do it again? Probably not as it was too manic. I would suggest if you wish to see the Dam go rent a car and go on your on steam that way you can set your own pace. They also added on a visit to a chocolate factory which in the 110 degrees heat was the last thing we wanted to do.

The Dam was a hurried experience. Too many buses and too many people at the same time. The cruise was as expected and relaxing and enjoyable. I did NOT appreciate the bus transfers - too many, too often, too confused. I appreciated even less the foistering of "advertising" for a place where one could shoot a machine gun - THAT was NOT ACCEPTABLE! Also, the drop-off of the tour participants at various "midpoints between hotels" instead of directly at their own hotel was not as advertised! Make the transportation on a smaller scale where more personalized and less commercialized transportation can be achieved.

By going to choc factory first shorten our time at the dam. Enjoyed the cruise. Not impressed with our tour guild.

I think that my rating was greatly influenced by the fact that it was spring break and there was a lot more people than expected. We stood in long lines, we were late getting back to the bus after just attending the basic tour and nothing else. The chocolate factory was not in operation so that was basically just going to the store. The lunch cruise on the paddleboat was very nice.

It started out great, but went downhill when our original bus never came back. Never was told what happened but had to wait in the 117 heat for 40 minutes waiting for another bus. Ran an hour late so missed happy hour at the hotel as well as my dinner plans. The best part was the Lake Mead cruise -very enjoyable and the turkey sandwich was the best one I think I've ever had.
